Hey guys - just a quick update. Had to spend 20-30 hours on server stuff over the holidays (both fun and not fun at the same time) so I didn't get through these yet. I will find time today or tomorrow to PM people who have been selected. As usual I'll pick 13 photos + 3 alternates. First 13 to respond get in the Calendar. Snoozers are losers.

to look good all you need is lip, coils, and wheels...no where near 10k

cheap route about 50+700+400 = $1150 maybe another couple hundred for tires

I already have Bilsteins + stock springs, so I'm not touching those...

I'm not buying $400 rims unless it's an emergency - I've had enough problems with aftermarket rims to make me extremely wary of any aftermarket rim. I've never had a set last more than 2-3 years without 1 or 2 getting bent. That included OZ racing wheels (and I didn't winter rally those - I rallied on the OEM Corrado wheels, and they were still ok after 10 years). That goes double for these horrible NorCal highways I commute on. And I have no idea where you get "couple hundred" for tires? The only ones I see around here for that price are Sunny or Wanli tires..

I was thinking about the 18" forged wheels import image was selling for $800.. But, my favorite tires (MPS A/S+) are $190 instead of $160 in 18", so it'd be $800 for wheels, $800 for tires, $400 for tinting (might do that anyway), etc.. And if I shelled out $1600 for looks at this point, I think my wife might kill me.. I'm about to spend $1K for the timing belt, acc belts, killer b pickup, etc. Last year was $2K for BNR evo16g, injectors, etc.. Year before that, Bilsteins + sways.

I've always been a go-before-show guy (doesn't mean I can't appreciate a nice car, though - just gotta avoid getting TOO envious ).

Sorry for the thread derailment..

PMs sent to all the people selected - many "thanks" to those who took the time to participate and help select the winners. Hopefully we'll get all the photos in this weekend and can have the calendar ready by Monday. Happy New Years!
