Moderators BarManBean Posted August 29, 2012 Moderators Share Posted August 29, 2012 Damnit, xero. I think I'm gonna have to pay you to come down and spend a day in my garage. Once I get everything cleaned up from the move I'll probably be in touch. Bastard. timbo7
Wish my car looked that clean and shiny. Coming to Eastern PA anytime soon? What do you use?
xero287
A CTSV is basically the same as my car (based on my hours) The only thing that would make me change the price is sedan vs. SUV. Depends on what you want really. A wash, clay, and wax is significantly cheaper than a detail with a 2-step polish, which is what I did in the above pictures. Interiors are included in the price for my details now. Without 2-step polish: $175 With 2-step polish $350. Keep in mind that the 2-step polish is a very lengthy process and normally takes me about 17-23 hours depending on the condition both inside and outside of the car. I found a local guy in Germantown to do the outside... It was OK, but I wasn't entirely happy with the job...For example - the car is gradually showing wax marks where the wax was never removed properly - HEAVY white areas on the car. Meh, that's never a nice feeling. Wax is sometimes really tricky, maybe the guy was new and didn't apply it correctly. PM me if you want to set up a date! I'd be happy to help you and maybe give you a discount if I'm doing two cars for the same person.

xero287
Alright, I can always do a 1-step polish as well. While it won't take all of the swirls out, it'll still restore a very deep finish in the car's paint.
