I won't be lowering it because the roads in wisconsin are horrible and I don't feel like bottoming out all the time.

So I havent updated this in a long time. The new things I have done,

-Grounding mod

-Reverse lights

-Painted wiper arms

-Winter wheels/tires

-Driver CV joint

 

Right now I am working on a few things,

-Rebuilding shifter stuff, bushings, short throw, knuckle, etc

-Exhaust(it will be one of a kind I promise)

-Door cars (still trying to decide on a fabric)

looks great! except the front passenger damage, what happened?

Someone hit me in the parking garage at school and didnt leave a note or anything. I took the bumper off and it cracked all the way through.

I hate school parking lots. They're like shopping carts; when you least expect it, some asshat is careless and lets it ram your car. Sorry man, is there anything you can do about it?

Oh I'd be pissed!! Do they security cameras in the parking garage? If there is see if you can get a license plate number or something!

Nope our school leases an off campus parking lot. Not worth it to turn it into insurance. This summer I will probably fix it or look for another one.

My friends dad told me to use bondo on the inside and build it up a little then bondo the outside and smooth it out well. Then paint it.

i feel like that may crack in the summer... just because its on abs plastic.. it wont contract and expand the same with the surrounding parts of the bumper

That's what I thought. Ill ask him again, but he works at a body shop so it must work somehow.

when my dad fixed a cracked bumper he used rivets, lots of drilling, and a aluminum plate with lots of holes on the backside of the bumper. then bondo over it. held up for a good 5+ years!

Wow it has been a while. This car has put me through hell but I can't complain because I have learned a lot from it. I do have some big plans this summer. At the least I will be doing a complete overhaul with gaskets, rings and then adding cams and a few other goodies.
