Subikid's New LGT!

True that! Over in Europe and other places it is like 50/50. There was a german exchange student I was pretty good friends with this year and he said over in Germany they don't usually drive automatic anything. He said he has a Golf GTI 5 door that's a stick. He gets really nice cars since his dad works for Volkswagen.

Yeah, i'm actually well aware of the prevalence of auto's in the states, i just fain ignorance to troll you guy's :p

In NZ, sadly, there are more auto's than manuals, since our cars are jap inports, and auto's are immensly popular there too. That said, it is, at a guess, a weak 60/40 sorta deal. In NZ, manuals are BY FAR the more popular. Most, and i MEAN most, hate auto's. At any club meet, you'll find 90% manuals in the attendees cars. The only auto's i can think of are girl drivers, or students that didn't have much a say in the matter, or my best mate who's pretty much a girl anyway :p

And we get STI's, lots of STi's, right from the mid 90's.

In case you didn't know.... STi's are manual only. The first auto STi was made last year, thanks to the americanization of subaru. F***ing copouts. For decades, STi have been stomping their feet, and saying real drivers drive manual.

STi A-Line, it's a JDM model. And the americanization of subaru doesn't mean SOA, it means subaru japan is turning American on us and starting to offer auto STi's. My ex girlfriend drove in one when she was in japan last year.

"The A-Line is a more accessible, comfy version of the WRX STI meant to attract more distinguishing and less dedicated customers to Subaru. It features Subaru's 2.5 liter Boxer engine (may i remind you here, WRX's and STi's in japan are 2L ONLY. so the 2.5 thing is also new to em), coupled with a 5-speed automatic transmission trademarked by Subaru as the SPORTSHIFT."

Wow what a difference the 04 WRX stuff made. I was riding on blown struts with Legacy L springs. The install went awesome, only thing is that the WRX struts don't have the same brake line connectors so I had to zip tie them on.
