I have to say Acz, I'm not a huge fan of those rims. Don't get me wrong, I love sport mesh wheels, and they look great on your car (which is just all around sexy). But the rims themselves kinda have that "deep dish", 14", "hella flush" look that I'm not crazy about. It's just to much lip and not enough mesh for my taste. Still looks good on your application though. :)

The thing is on replica wheels, the step lip part is actually just in silver finish. But on the real BBS LM, the step lip is polished/ shinier than replica wheels.

Same thing was with the Rota D2 I've owned. The Rota lip is just silver, but the SSR lip is polished/ shiny.

It's a very distinctive difference

Same thing with the Volk GT-Vs... very shiny lip and quite possibly, in the near future, will have a noble gold interior to go with the polished lip.

yeah, Hella Supertones horns. Subimods had some powdercoated. Apparently, pink is popular but the black worked for me. I got tired of soccer moms drifting into my lane in their Suburbans while talking on their cell phones. The stock horn didn't quite have the "holysh*t whatthehellwhasthat?" factor that I was looking for. These scare people out of your lane in a hurry:lol:

Subiefan -- The SSR Type F has been on my radar. I really like them on your car. Thanks for posting the pics. Are you planning to attend the WBM in June? Would love to see your car (and here your horn) in person. (I'm in Central MA.) Also, VERY funny, the function of your new horn! Gotta get me one of them for the "Of COURSE I got the right-O-way" species of human so common here in central Massachusetts! Sometimes I feel absolutely surrounded by them!:spin::lol:

RRR, I'll be at the WBM. A few of us are heading up together and joining up with the Milford Plaza(?) train. I'm loving the Type F's, I'm back to looking over my shoulder as I walk away from the car so I can get another look. They look amazing in the sunlight.

Horns are very effective at alerting the "wicked obnoxious Masshole" to your displeasure at their being "frickin' retahded"

In person I'll bet your car is WAY hot. Silver on silver--oh yeah, and in the sun... I'm also betting those SSR Type F's would compliment my Ruby Red 09 pretty nicely....

Soooooo, I am going to have to find you at the WBM! I really want to see your car (and those wheels). Shouldn't be too hard since there will only be a small planting of LGTs compared to the acres of WRXs and STis.

How do you like your Vredestein tires?

I think the Type F's would look great with Ruby Red. Vredesteins feel awesome. I haven't pushed them too hard yet but I'm looking forward to it. I have noticed a little more noise on brand new pavement at 80mph+ but I only notice it on one stretch of road so I don't know if that counts.

PM me when we get closer to the WBM and I'll give you my cell # so you we can meet up.

Linea Corse Lemans, Silver w/ a polished Lip. 18x8.5 +45 w/ 235/40/18 Dunlop Direzza Star Spec Z1's. These puppies are perfectly flush with Racecomp Tarmac 1's at the preset height from Myles with -1 degree of camber upfront. I could not be happier!

im same tire, only a 7.5 rim, and +42 offset and rubbing on rear, how did you overcome rear rubbing?
