Just ordered one. Nice guy! They are just dumping them as they have been sitting in the warehouse for over a year.

Quoted me $375+shipping! (which will be alot as I live in Canada :( ) he said very very, similar sound to SPT V1. Part of the design process was sound to keep it quiet and low for daily driving.

Side note... They make the Toyota TRD exhaust systems for thier trucks!

Mike was a pleasure to deal with, sent him an email saying I was interested in one of these last wednesday and it arrived in my drive this monday, fast shipping (I am in Montreal) all inclusive cost me 473CAN$. Unbeatable price for what seems like an overall quality system.

You can see in the pix that it is actually stepped down to 2.5" at the flange to mate up to the OEM downpipe.

Pix where? I should have read the first page a bit more where you mention that its tapered.

Scans website is old and that is the original bosal CBE pictured on that site (see the "SPT" on the tips?).

If any of you could post up some shots of the "1.5" Bosal CBE (both on and off the car) that would be awesome. legacychick, are you running a stock DP?

No one has pix of the recent orders. Here is an old link;

The scans pix are correct. Everything is the same except the "SPT" on the tips. The issues from V-1 were fit and weld problems. That is all that was corrected. It is the same basic design.

I received mine on Monday. The system is in 4 peices. Straight pipe, Y-Pipe , and 2 cans. The system doesn't have the resinator anymore and only the back half of the Y-Pipe and the cans are polished. (the rest is just plain stainless....although, I remedied that yesterday:p) I'll be installing mine on Friday, so I'll post some pics Friday evening...barring any strange, unforseen complications

Yep, stock downpipe. I can't really hear it inside the car with the windows up. I'll take some pics after work.

That would be great.

Thanks for the link m sprank, I actually had read that thread last night when searching for info/pics about this exhaust. There is one more thread out there by edmundu (or something like that) with a couple pics. But the more the merrier!

That same thought had occurred to me too. I didn't like the resinator placement on the original set-up. It was in a spot that hung a little low to begin with, but there is plenty of room on the straight pipe to add one if it ends up being necessary.

My main concern is it being too loud or droney with an otherwise full exhaust. My last subaru had a full aftermarket SS exhaust, 1 HFC, no resonator and was pretty loud and raw, with a decent amount of drone while cruising. Then again that was a wagon with an open cabin and it was N/A, so this is a slightly different ball game.
