  3. All suggestions above I have ascribed to. Adjustments made. Riding much better now. Thank you.
  4. Sorry to resurrect am old thread. I had mine installed last night. They are bouncy as @&$#. I'm about ready to take them off. I assumed the mechanic knew what he was doing and installed for most comfortable ride. I'll see if I can get some instructions from ISC as I bought them used on this forum. 5. Would anyone be interested in purchasing a EJ20X that's currently installed in a legacy? Saves you having to do the intake and exhaust manifold and all that.
  6. Keeping this thread going. I have done the swap but still running hella rich. No codes showing. Performance is ok. Idles fine etc. but strong exhaust smell. Kept the USDM Ecu, changed the exhaust cam gears and other pertinent parts. Tuner is saying he can't seem to find the cause off knock. Anyone else saw rich conditions or exhaust issues with this swap?
  7. Mike, I wanna come see you for street tune soon. The E-tune has been good to me. Just wanna dial it in.
  8. Never met him in person but the customer service and support is great. Definitely a stand up guy. My car's been running pretty well since my tune. I am hoping to take it to get a road tune sometime soon. I'd definitely recommend this tuner.
  9. That's a strange one. Seems like that may be coming from the engine , in particular the valves. I may be wrong, but I'm thinking the frequency of the taps would be greater were it to be turbo related. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
  10. Unsubscribing from this thread. I realize that if I no longer desire a wingless OBP trunk, one would become available.
  11. Maybe coincidental. But basically had to replace an engine in my Ford Escort then in my WRX..like I said, other contributing factors May have been the cause. But can't afford to keep on experimenting to narrow results and come to definite deduction. So I'll play it safe and eliminate that variable and go with the hypothesis. Yeah though I walk through the valley of the shadow, I fear no man because Faith is my arrow.
  12. Rotfl. Somewhere along the highway. Touché...exactly the the response I would give.. Yeah though I walk through the valley of the shadow, I fear no man because Faith is my arrow.
  13. I Lost two engines while using this product. May be coindicent....amy not...but I think I'm starting to see a trend. Gonna Stay far away. I know a lot of mechanics recommend Techron, and Redline is supposed to be good, but all I've used on this GT is Gummout, not regularly though.
  14. Now y'all have me worried. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/feeler-sorta-211057.html?p=4507845 .Now I'm really leaning towards starting anew. Can't be driving afraid for Mr. Piston #4 to rear its ugly head. Pretty much same predicament I was faced with...and felt like the forged pistons, though more reliable and giving peace of mind, would require a lot more maintenance and monitoring. Also, sorry to thread jack/ resurrect old thread.
  15. Neat job @ HellShadow70. BarmanBean, feel free to chime in, but if the end tanks were already seeing failure, would it be completely sealed with this application? If so, I have two intercoolers to donate....
  16. ^ Sweet. I can't wait to get mine. It's tough driving and staying out of boost; not to mention not having peace of mind.
  17. Payment sent. I'll be the Stage 3 guinea pig. I have confidence in this design.
  18. ^ Hope this is the cause of my problems. Running super lean, after installing aftermarket inlet hose. I did notice during re-installation of engine partss, that the tube was very lose. like almost unable to stay in place. BTW, whats the foam around that plastic thing for?
