enthusiast
http://www.progressauto.com/products/sfID1/15/sfID2/58/sfID3/131 for beefier mounts and cheaper than the rest. I have these with my 25mm rear sway bar. They are on back order will take 6 weeks to get them. Looks like I will be ordering the AVO ones. RedDawg
Who did you order the beefier clamps from? interested in these beefier clamps also. link?
PineyLGT805
Those from progressive autowill work, but if you call Perrin, They carry the beefier ones in stock. (at least last time i called they did)
PineyLGT805
Funny thing is, is that i broke 3 sets of stock clamps in about 3 years and have now been on my last set of stock ones for over 2 years (I ordered 4 stock sets the first time i broke them). I wonder why the first 3 sets broke so quick and the last set hasn't. I keep inspecting them and they look good as new. Anyways, I have the beefier ones ready to go, just am waiting for my last stock set to break (if that will even happen)
bochinam
Good gawd! Unpacked the Perring 25mm rear bar today...this thing is huge. Ok, so what are you guys running for rear endlinks now that Perrin is no longer making them?
integroid
If the stock endlinks are metal, stick with those until they break.
CDN 2.5i
MSI's get my vote. May be a couple sets left right now... check the "INTEREST in endlinks" thread.
PineyLGT805
Why has Perrin stopped making the endlinks? are they phazing out their suspension department?
whitetiger
as stated earlier in the thread, you will want to invest inthe avo stout mounts and whiteline bushings with the beefy u-clamps. you will bend or break you stock hardware with this bar. Mindspin311
Oh, so is that a reinforcement bracket and stronger U clamp all-in-one? I already have the Perrin brackets..
PineyLGT805
Oh, so is that a reinforcement bracket and stronger U clamp all-in-one? I already have the Perrin brackets.. No that is just the U Clamp. It is the part that secures the Sway Bar and Bushing to the Stout Mount.
integroid
Oh, so is that a reinforcement bracket and stronger U clamp all-in-one? I already have the Perrin brackets.. Then you should be fine. There really is no reason to go with aftermarket end links since our rear end links are already metal. I put on a set of Perrin's because I thought they were plastic until I went back there to install the Perrin's. I did not notice one bit of dirrence with the Perrin end links. whitetiger
If you buy the right bushings from energy suspension, they come with stronger u clamps. and they are greasable too! here is a direct link http://www.energysuspensionparts.com/proddetail.asp?prod=9.5161
Mindspin311
Are the energy bushings worth it over the perrin supplied ones?
whitetiger
yes. my perrin ones wore out very quickly and started making noise. the ES ones i have now are going strong after 2+ years, and i autox regularly and beat the hell out of my car. there hasnt been rear end noise since i installed them. My stock endlinks looked like KNEX or Tinker Toys, My aftermarket ones were almost half the weight and twice as beefier. I would highly suggest gettin aftermarket endlinks since the stocks are known to fail if you plan on driving spirited
Mindspin311
The stock endlinks have PLASTIC joints. They will eventually break. Check out Rallitek's website for some good info. I went with their HD endlinks. Stock design, but 100% metal. Very stout, annddddd a 5yr warranty!

Just ordered 2 sets of the 22mm bushings from ES per your suggestion. I think my stock bushings are starting to clunk now when I go over speed bumps and the like. So annoying. Mindspin311
BTW, for anyone considering the ES bushings.. Buying from ES directly was the cheapest I found them. $42 shipped for front and rear sets.
