There are companies that make kits to swap Cummins engines (12 and 24 valve) into Fords as a (in my opinion) better power train. That particular truck probably would have had a 6.0 Powerstroke Diesel engine in it from the factory, which wasn't known for reliability. Anyway, it's a Fummins. Pretty common in the diesel world now days. Also has an 08+ body style tailgate on the old body style truck Right on. I was gonna say doesn't Ford still own Cummins too? I thought they just leased it out to Dodge. I know it was like this at one point but maybe after the auto industry crisis they sold it outright but not sure. dspurgin22 Posted January 20, 2013 Share Posted January 20, 2013 Here is my solution to leaving the silver screw tops out in the open. Just picked up 3 packs of the license plate screw covers from autozone, and put them on top of the plastic washers included with the mudflaps.
