Legend
With temps cooling down, do yourself a favor and go out and get yourself some 4th and 5th gear logs. 2k-rpms up to 80 or 90mph on safe roads with no traffic is plenty. With cool temps you'll hit greater loads and it's good to know that your tune is safe and not knocking at the higher loads you'll see with lower temps. You'll also find out quickly if you have good boost control or not. If you were tuned at higher temps there is no way of knowing (for sure) that your tune is safe in cold weather and high gears until you check it out. Nobody blow an engine please... Underdog
this is what led to my recent engine failure. Not fun. The Crimson Dynamo
rao
You should retitle this thread - "Reminder to anyone who got a half-assed, non-professional so-called custom tune" Rob IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CAR YOU SHOULD NEVER DRIVE IT

spec.B Dream
Thanks for the reminder. I'll make sure to grab some cooler logs. I was tuned by a guy who calls himself "Infamous", so I'm really not sure I can trust him. I heard he doesn't even own a Subaru!
Infamous1
I sure don't..... Damn Chevy POS... But Legend is correct and as always anyone previously tuned by me with trouble I will take care of it....
spec.B Dream
...and as always anyone previously tuned by me with trouble I will take care of it.... He speaks the truth. Shamar was very helpful during the entire tuning process.
Legend
But Legend is correct and as always anyone previously tuned by me with trouble I will take care of it.... And that's another huge benefit of an e-tune. It can be easily tweaked for conditions not present during the initial tuning. Not so easily done with a dyno tune.
