pillboy
Looks nice on the inside. I wouldn't kick it out of my garage, but on the outside it is almost as ugly as a 2010 Legacy...almost. It is still ugly.
edkwon
Nice photos, nice interior and i'm sure a very nice drive, but terrible looking car. At least it seats 4 comfortably but it had to attain the length of a stretch limo to do it. I don't understand why European exotic marquees can't take design cues from Maserati, if you want to make a 4 door supercar...make it look like a 4 door car, not a 2 door car with a stretch section http://conando1202.up.seesaa.net/image/maserati_quattroporte_sport_gt_s_1.jpg Aston Martin's Rapide is even worse because all the reviewers said despite the stretch section, the rear seats are still cramped with poor headroom like a 2+2 http://www.cartype.com/images/page/2006-aston-martin-rapide-concept-scn-net-0083.jpg
Bolksey85
I'm a Porsche person, through and through. Always loved a lot of their lineup. This one....is unique. I'll give 'em credit for trying something new and fairly bold. In the end, I think I'd rather have either the Quattroport or one of these in the driveway.http://www.yourmercedes.com/images/cls-63-amg-coupe.jpg

PGT
I saw one in Stuttgart in May. It's not horrible in person.....still a new shape for Porsche which will take some (or a lot of) getting used to
StoplightAssassin
I would definitely buy a Panamera...I would just keep my eyes closed until I got in it. The front 50% looks good but the back half is a different story.
PGT
even the name sucks. here was the Panamerica show car from years past (way old) http://www.victoriawax.com/photogal/29041.jpg http://www.victoriawax.com/photogal/29048.jpg
Gire
I don't mind it, but (as others have beaten me) I'd take a 4 door maserati over this in a heartbeat. Why would one buy this over some sweet italian uber-mobile? I see AMG benz, and porsches all day long. Yawn. But when I see a Mas or an Aston Martin I slow way down and indulge in auto-porn. Gire
The black one is a bit better but gigantic yellow brakes? Gaaaaaawdy!Sure they might have come out of a Carrera GT but still, get some tasteful colours!
Penguin
I like the Panamera myself, and I really don't mind the body lines. The Roof over the rear seats could be a bit more flowing, but that would sacrifice a lot of headroom back there. Given a choice I'd go for the headroom. As for those that would take a Maserati over a Panamera Turbo... well you guys are on crack. Not only does the Panamera look equally good (the Maser is just not very good looking) but it will rip the Maser's nuts off in any measurable performance test. Deuchland Uber Alles on this one. The Maserati is a gorgeous sedan, so youre wrong there 2. You have to fall back on the performance arguement because subconciously, you agree w the rest of us the Porsche is an unattractive sedan and lacks the style, class and panache of the Italian sedan. I'll take the style any day over your performance numbers.
Penguin
The Maserati is not a gorgeous sedan in my opinion. It looks like a turn of the century Buick, with it's ovoid LeSabre like grille, hell it even has port holes in the front fenders like a Park Avenue. That and the Quattroporte is overweight, and costs more than other cars offering more features. The Porsche looks like a Porsche, the interior looks amazing, and the car, according to reviews, is one of the best four door drivers cars ever made. Separated at birth? Sure they might have come out of a Carrera GT but still, get some tasteful colours! Means it has the ceramic brake package on it. As far as the Mas vs Porsche debate don't the Mas's cost over $200K? The sticker on the Panamera turbo was $156k. Mind you if you can even afford that price for a sedan price should really be no object.
