jcdennis
You managed better than I did. I'm down 2 lugs LOL - ya, but I'm in Canada, looking at over $30 shipping plus duties/tax etc. Pretty spendy for one lug.
waxon_waxoff
Definitely better looking at night. Good point! Make sure you post pictures finally got these mounted in hyper silver, couldn't be happier. also, 235 is a great size. sow just can't decide if i want to go the 'authentic' replica route and do red on black sti center caps, or just do a clean subaru logo or text instead... some cell phone pics: http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt192/waxon_waxoff_01/IMG1121.jpg http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt192/waxon_waxoff_01/IMG1122.jpg http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt192/waxon_waxoff_01/IMG1123.jpg rota gravels, hyper silver, 18x8 +48 falken 453, 235 40
mercury3545
so i havent seen many 18 x 8.5's on the legacy. Does the 44 offset require too much fender work?

The 18x8.5 +44 will be a direct bolt-on with a 225/40/18 tire. -Tommy Email:Sales@WheelDude.com Phone:510.651.2956 AIM:WheelDudeSales Paypal:Sales@SubyDude.com
MatsuDano
You'll also attract hella bitchezsezs with your stretched tires.
Subydude.com
A 225/40/18 is still within manufacturer's recommendation and safe to run on an 18x8.5 inch wheel. Goober Subie
Looking to put Rota Gravel Hyper Blacks on my two-tone silver 2005 OBXT. What would be the best wheel and tire size fitment w/ BC Racing Legacy GT specific coilovers? I'm getting the coilovers installed next week - looking to drop maybe .5-1" from LGT height. Nothing too aggressive.

thestratomaster
I made it to pg 35, but can anyone confirm that the 18x8 et48 clear Brembo's? I saw a post saying they should, but picture proof couldn't hurt

Paul1017
Sorry for resurrecting an old thread. How are these wheels doing longer-term? Are they pretty durable? Anyone taken theirs to the track, or should these be street driven only? Thinking about getting a set of Hypersilver in 18x8 +
MatsuDano
Had mine for a few years now, and they hold up well enough. They have a color matching spot paint in case you get a chip or two. I don't track or even drive aggressively, so don't use me as a testimony in that regard. Otherwise, nothing exceptional to report.

SC07
Hey buddy did you have to do any fender rolling to fit the 18x8? do you think the 18x8.5 et44 would work? Many thanks 18x8 Hyperblack http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160801/f9ce1662e23fe85eb264302452ab4080.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160801/19c846eb702d69d40174c58104a022d5.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Paul1017
From the many pictures on this thread, I definitely prefer the fitment of the 18x8 +48 on the 4th gen. I'm still debating about doing the Gravels, or going all out with the actual JDM Enkeis. YOLO, right? @chestercopperpot what size tires are you running? SC07
I am torn between a gun metallic set of hyper black. Singapore has the original Enkeis and they are going at about Usd2,200. Madness. Haven't given up the idea of going for the enkeis From the many pictures on this thread, I definitely prefer the fitment of the 18x8 +48 on the 4th gen. chestercopperpot
Tires are 225 40 18. No rubbing. I read that a lot of people had a slight amount of running with the 8.5. I believe they had to trim the plastic wheel well, not sure if a slight fender roll was needed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Paul1017
Ended up going for the Rotas + 235/40-R18 Super Sports. So far no rubbing, but haven't really driven much yet. Taking it in to add more negative camber this weekend, then time for a photoshoot We'll finally have some pics of DGM+Hypersilver in this thread
