His is 35% (tinted from dealer), and his is still looked slightly darker than mine. trust me, i really spent few minutes, walked around, looked from diff angles. I like the tinted taillights... I'd be concerned about rear visibility tho. That's the picture that makes it appear the lightest. with the bright sunshine and the white wall behind it. Legal limit here in VA is 50% up front w/35% in back. My wagon is sooo much darker than any of the others at work. Everyone wonders why I don't get ticketed. 1.) it's a wagon. 2.) it's so much lighter than the back. 3.) I'm almost 50 yo. Sebastian Posted September 11, 2009 Share Posted September 11, 2009 When afraid of tint laws, just ride with your windows down I know cops are different in every city, but in most of the places I have been to they really don't enforce the tint law unless you have done something to piss them off or drive like an idiot. If and when you do get pulled put the windows down before the cop comes up to your car. It might be different in places where the no tint or only 50% is allowed..
