987687
I don't have pics but mine was a 1981 Subaru GL sedan, 5 speed with the luggage rack on the trunk, lol. Sure it was an 81? or a 5speed? I don't think they had 5speeds until 84 or something. That was a nice little car though!! I have a lifted 89 GL now. Awesome car!

lgtftw
you may be right, I get my birth year and my cars birth years confused sometimes, lol. In all reality, it might have been newer. it looked liked this http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:Tcw5Wc6ByH1zaM:http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_TsdjySqKQlI/S2N-8wsTnCI/AAAAAAAACDg/lvyBPJcuG2E/s400/1983+Subaru+GL-10.+-+2.jpg&t=
987687
That's an ea81 sedan. Really nice cars, I'm still on the lookout for one in good condition. But in Maine .... anyone who lives in NE knows what happens to old cars. I'm lucky to have found the 89 pretty much rustless.

joeleodee
72 Monte Carlo. Daily driven in high school. Quickly became a rust bucket and eventually a career project car. Still in it's not done, but current state. http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n29/joeleodee/IMG_1994-1.jpg
FPerron
1953 Austin Healey 104. This was in 1963. Stupidly turned it into a race car - just like I later did to my 1971 Plymouth Cuda and my 2005 LGT. http://i1276.photobucket.com/albums/y477/fperron2/1954-austin-healey-100-4-bn1-1_zpshbpcjhuo.jpg
SuperSub
1980 Ford Cortina Mk 4 Most came out with a 2 litre pinto engine. Mine had he mighty 1.6 litre version. http://i.imgur.com/yUOGr6F.jpg P.S this photo is not of my car, just an example (but it was the same colour)
jwag74
Holy Thread Revival, My first car was a 1990 Toyota Celica GTS (RIP) It was written of by a lady(with no insurance) who hit me 3x on the highway Picked up a 1992 Celica GTS and swapped in a 3sgte motor & an LSD transmission(converted to FWD) from an MR2 She wasn't pretty, but she was one of the fastest cars I've owned Definitely a zombie thread but if a thread is worth reviving this one seems pretty good. 1978 Ford Fairmont Futura with the mighty smog neutered 200ci inline 6 putting out a whopping 87 hp. It actually handled pretty well being as it was a fox body but barely had enough power to get out of it's own way or get into trouble...... perfect first car for a dumb ass 16 year old actually. birdmayne
First car owned and driven - 1992 Pontiac Grand Prix. Ballin like my Grandma, because she sold it to me. Surprisingly quick for an early 90s family sedan. John Hancock
JJr
Actually, a turbo 2.3 liter inline-4. The last V-4 car sold in the U.S. was the Saab Sonnett III from 1970-74. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/1/18/Sonett3.jpg In 1971 as a 12 year old I went to the dealer to buy a car with my dad, ,when i saw the Saab I tried to talk him into buying it, thank god he did not. He bought this instead 1971 1750 GTV Alfa Romeo, still has it to this day. Same color and condition. And my 1st 1967 GTO same color and set-up, damn why did I sell it.
