I just took it off yesterday there were some light clearcoat scratches that got fixed by waxing, I did notice there was a small misscoloration on the nose of the hood i could not buff out but its barley noticable. but the front of the car has no chips from the harsh winter we had so it did its job, its just alot of maintince when its on, im sure if i did nto clean it every 2 weeks i would of ruined the front of the car..

I think if you keep the bra off, that discoloration should go away after awhile. That mostly occurs because the sun will fade the paint that was uncovered. You should be ok. It was good that you recognized that you needed to clean under the bra.

only thing that sucks is this color is hard to match up with something else, hard to get a theme going with DBM. DBM/Black?, DBM/Silver? cant smoke the tails or the headlights or even paint the inside of the housing black.. even clearing the corners kinda looks weird in DBM.. its one of thoughts colors you have a lot of trial and error, before you mate it with something that sticks..

Honestly white is my fav color, cause' white/black look SIIIICK!

hmm cant say i dig gold wheels too much in this color, but the clears do look nice, I might do that next, defiantly going to tint the windows. thanks for the pics gives me a good idea what i can do with this color. Nice pics!

what mufflers you got?

Naw....it helps make the bronze look more brown. The silver really tends to downplay the bronze.

Think about it...both bronze and gold have more brown properties mixed in them than say silver.

I chose my wheels to have them pop out more, then make the bronze appear more brown. From there, I have bronze-ish color lugs to help tie the gold wheels back in the the bronze. I just want to get rid of all the chrome on my car. I think that clashes the most...imho

Hi, I'm new to these forums. Picked up a 2008 2.5i 5mt back in the fall with low milage. Nice and warm this weekend, so took off the winters and slapped on the summer wheels I had sitting in the garage from my previous ride. Tires are abit tall, but I was just trying for fitment before I ordered the right size ones. I find they rub abit on rear inside fender on the top abit from hard cornering, which i hope the proper size tire should fix. 225/50's on there now on the 17x8 rotas, gonna get some 225/45's for em soon real soon.
