The avo colormatched grill will make the front pop as well. I drive alot for work so.i cant justify apearence mods sice they will get trashed withball the highway driving i do. But if iget a nice bonus i might spend some money on doing what i want to do. -

nice car man, your pics are pushing me to paint my headlights, i like how you painted the corner light reflector blakc then put the stock reflector/defuser in there as well, i do wonder how it would look not painted and having the chrome reflection shine through the defuser.. im painting my stockers graphite as we speak so im thinking the black headlights will really set it off. i really hate dark wheels on a dark car like this bt honeslty no offence to the people with gold wheels, its the only way to go with this color IMHO.. with that being said id like to see some DBM's with graphite/black wheels to get an idea what my car will look like come spring, im tring to keep an open mind but like i said im not crazy about the color combo, its one of thoughs things i think i can live with and if not i can always sand them down again and paint them silver, no biggie.. pleae post more pics! -
spotted a moded QSM LGT in Marlborough turning onto farm rd from rt20 east at about 5pm i think 2 days ago, i tryed to catch up but there was traffic between us, you turned off farm rd into a neighborhood - i wasn't going to follow you lol

yup i see you alot, id say look for me next time but my car does not really stand out, besides the color which is nothing special unless your up close.. http://img97.imageshack.us/img97/5194/dsc02841k.jpg I should have blacked out housings and an AVO grill soon.. so i might be more noticeable then..

Here are some pics like a promised.. all shined up.. WOO HOO its final spring! kinda the same pics.. but the color i think stands out more, it was about the same light outside as my first pics.. i need to get some pics taken when its really bright and sunny outside.. http://img301.imageshack.us/img301/4382/dsc02844c.jpg http://img201.imageshack.us/img201/1813/dsc02843i.jpg http://img91.imageshack.us/img91/8000/dsc02841v.jpg repin 2.5i http://img249.imageshack.us/img249/7707/dsc02848z.jpg http://img301.imageshack.us/i/dsc02844c.jpg/ -

only thing that sucks is this color is hard to match up with something else, hard to get a theme going with DBM. DBM/Black?, DBM/Silver? cant smoke the tails or the headlights or even paint the inside of the housing black.. even clearing the corners kinda looks weird in DBM.. its one of thoughts colors you have a lot of trial and error, before you mate it with something that sticks.. Honestly white is my fav color, cause' white/black look SIIIICK! -

I just took it off yesterday there were some light clearcoat scratches that got fixed by waxing, I did notice there was a small misscoloration on the nose of the hood i could not buff out but its barley noticable. but the front of the car has no chips from the harsh winter we had so it did its job, its just alot of maintince when its on, im sure if i did nto clean it every 2 weeks i would of ruined the front of the car.. -

it protects the front of the car from rock chips, we have bad winters here in this part of the country and they sand the roads alot.. it prevents the salt from destroying the front of the car(sand blasting).. some people put them on because they like the look and like to have protection year round, but i think they are ugly, and if you leave them on your car year round the bra its selfe can actualy cause scratches on the car if you dont keep up with it, thats why im only using it for the winter. I take it off atleast once or twice a month just to clean the grit out from underneath it.. -

another question, i have been doing some research on the "boxer rumble" and i have found tons of hits on uel headers by borla and GTspec.. it says in the writeup that theres a group by going on (looks like its custom).. is the borla and gtspec headers an option, or will these only work with alot of modification.. im really interested
