katalyst Posted February 20, 2009 Share Posted February 20, 2009 yeah no problem snow. i'm immediately before you anyway. i think 40% on our cars (OBP) would look extremely different than say 45% or even 50% on, say, SWP. what i'm trying to say is 40% on OBP isn't going to look that dark since there's really no contrast. 45-50% on SWP is the extreme in contrast, so the tint would look darker than it appears. i have scientific proof for my argument, if you don't believe me. just PM me. haha, lateral inhibition of the photoreceptors IIRC?........i should, i'm in the field :redface: but i do'nt remember half of that stuff haha Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I bet you the tint looks darker on the Black car than the white car... My theory and have seen it, the black car has a darker interior which will make the tint seem darker.... WRONG. my interior is TAUPE. back in 2005, you could get the interior in TWO colors. today, we have no choice in the interior color scheme. changing times, less choices. see y'all tomorrow. with my 40% dammit. I was leaning towards 45% but I my have to drop it down to 40% if this is the case. Has anyone seen a Legacy with tan leather tinted? Thoughts? She said something about 4 people at 10am but we deff talked about 8 cars total throughout the day. I'm not sure what she was talking about...I hope they are still good with all of us showing up tomorrow. I DEFF discussed having all of us come in one day with them SEVERAL times...I'm not going to be happy if they say this isn't the case. Whatever...if they can't take all of us someone can take my spot and I'll just go next weekend. Fingers crossed I'll give everyone a call if anything comes up. Hopefully I'll see everyone tomorrow!
