A 1000+HP car can be driven on the street with the AC and radio on, go to the track, run an 8.90 and then go home. There was a guy with a turbo small block Fox. At great lakes they have a street car drag race. All the cars must go on a short cruise in order to show that they can be started, driven, turned off, started and driven some more without needing anything in between. I wanna say the winner is usually in the 8s. I know the winner from a couple years back not sure if he has won again as I havent spoke with him in a couple years. 1700whp 600ci big block with a procharger on it. They are not small by any means but it's a unique car and worlds better than the G-body abomination the 80's gave us.
