apexjapan
The Japan office found this online, and I've linked it up on our site for the moment here: http://www.avoturboworld.com/content/view/166/1/ Till I figure out how to direct link it. It's a short video of first the S402 vs. an Audi A4 RS6 with the 5-liter V10 bi-turbo in a slalom, then the S402 vs. the Porsche Cayman on a very short track. Professional driver is impressed with the S402 performance despite the refinement, non-pro "enthusiast" driver finds it a little easier to drive around the track (as evidenced by closer times to the pro vs. the Cayman). Cheers, Paul Hansen http://www.avoturboworld.com
Guest
Thanks for sharing this. Yeah, S402 it's still too soft. Pinks on Bilsteins do not quite keep it planted and it's understeering like a pig...

Wang Lung
It does look good. Quite a contrast to the Viper ACR "Ring" video I just saw. S402=two guys in street clothes, sans helmets, talking about where they are going for lunch. Viper ACR=a driver in full racing regalia just trying to stay alive. Cheers, Paul Hansen www.avoturboworld.com A4 and RS6? Wow, Audi found a way to cross the A4 and A6 line? Audi doesnt make an RS6 anymore (in the US it;s simply badged S6), the only RS vehicle they still make is the RS4. The S6 (what you are referring to as RS6) is the high performance version of the A6. The vehicle pictured in that video is not any "high performance" Audi, it is the new A4. Here is the new A4 Sedan (vehicle in the video): http://www.audiusa.com/audi/us/en2/new_cars/Audi_A4.html Here is an S6: http://www.audiusa.com/audi/us/en2/new_cars/Audi_A6/S6.html

RJS5689
yu always bitch about the suspension...ever think you bought the wrong car? Well the suspension of the Legacy is pretty shotty, it's some of the softest suspension I've ridden on. Great ride, awful in terms of dampening and handling characteristics. I've never driven a non Spec.B, but I'm even disappointed with the suspension on the B, I was expecting a little more in terms of dampening. Edit: And in the video, it is definitely not an RS6. The RS6 has no foglamps because that space is taken up by the ducts that feed air to the twin intercoolers. DrCloud
^ Yep, but, still, this "A4 RS6" label (that's on that linked video, so the OP didn't make it up) is bogus. It's either or. HPH

Agree, they are too soft (I had them), but 1000x better than stock GT.
