^^ yes, 05-07 are the same, but 05 headlights have black housing, versus 06/07 with chrome housing.

i know the only visible difference was the black and chrome housing...i didnt know if there was any other difference...just black housing is cheaper than chrome and its going to be painted anyway

So I bought a second set of headlights to modify so there would be no downtime with my car. I got a set of Depo aftermarket OE headlights. So far so good. Baked them in the oven at 250 for ten minutes and they pulled apart nicely with some help from some friends. I took the amber out, sanded down the chrome except for where the blinker is and my buddy painted them in a hot rod flat black with metal flake. I look forward to putting the lights back together, as well as putting in an HID kit.

Mr. Luv. THESE ARE AWESOME. do you think those pieces fit in Legacy headlights? the gattling covers? so those are lit up by halo's underneath? or am I missing something? read your post but I think I missed something.

That's what mine look like, except I left the tip of the projector housing chrome.

I'm kinda feeling like the snap on area over the turn signal is empty.. I wonder what it would look like with a solid LED light like what's on the new Ford Taurus?

How big is the stock LGT projector? (in inches)

Trying to weigh out my options for retrofit.

Crossing fingers that 3" projectors fit....

I don't think a 3" lens will fit into the shroud without cutting it all up. An RX330 or FX projector are probably your best bets. S2k if you want to spend the coin.

I very much dislike the clear snap on over the turn signal on the blacked out headlights. The amber bulbs shine just fine. And before someone says it, no reflectors are needed in texas, only amber bulbs.

You painted the reflector? That's going to be near invisable during the day and really dim at night.

well there is a company that makes LED's that fit in there that shine like 5 or 6k HID's and blink amber when the turn signal or hazards are activated...$55 a pair shipped is what it cost me...putting them in on wednesday because those clear bulbs just dont cut it...even with the reflector still there

RX330s and FXs are 2.5" if I remember right.

If it's a direct swap with those, that means I can fit a 3" projector.

I'm not using the OEM shroud BTW.

00-03 S2K's is stupid nice....I want Bi-Xenon tho.

Is there any hybrid projectors that out perform the TL+ZKW lens yet?

Been out the game for years...
