Tire Inflation...

I am currently running stock wheels with 215/45/17 Toyo Proxes4. What should I be running the tires at? I know some people prefer very inflated tires while others like them nice and soft...

I am a daily driver on terrible Los Angeles streets and acceleration is important so I know I should be leaving mine right in the middle is not on the soft side...

any help...?

Read the max psi on the side of the tire. that's gonna get you the best MPG and the harshest ride.

Example: My tires max psi is 50psi. I run 44/42 and that gets me a good comprimise between MPG, handling, and ride comfort.

The only way to know what works for you is to experiment and see what you like.

Cold Inflation Pressure means the tire is the same temp as the ambient air.... before the car has been drivin.

Driving on them makes a huge difference. My F1As are set to 36/34 "cold", but I measured pressure after some highway driving in 94F and they were 44/42 "hot".

Does max inflation pressure (e.g., 50psi) on tire refer to cold or hot?
