Lyn
I blew a tire the other day and bought a new one, which did not meet the 1.25/32" tread requirements. After much searching, I found out that Pikes Peak Acura in CSprings does tire shaving for $40. So, though they are not a Subaru business, they are the only people that I can find who will shave tires and save me from buying 4 new tires so I give them my hearty recommendation! enthusiast
I have to add another one to the list. Michael of WickedSubies. I had my car up at his shop yesterday to change the sparkplugs, do a compression check, and put in my STi transmission mount. I was very happy that my motor still is very healthy and will continue the next upgrades. I am very pleased with his work and his prices. I know that collegemt and tommypenguin both had their clutches installed by Michael as well. BigNYDog3
Tint Crafters in Littleton does really nice tint work and if you catch them on a day when there is a lot of snow or bad weather they will do it fairly cheap if you pay cash. 3M tint and lifetime warranty. I got my whole car tinted 15% for 200 bucks cash and it took maybe 30 mins total because they were totally dead. 4490 S Wadsworth Blvd Denver, CO 80123 (303) 973-1831
eekay
Please do post his info! Also, anyone have any reccomendations for service/aftermarket installs and sales in the Boulder/Denver area? Anyone had experience with SuperRupair, or Flatirons Subaru? +1 for Super Rupair. I go there quite often even if to only chat around with the tuners. Very nice, professional and knowledgeable bunch. It might be a little higher priced, but the service is outstanding. My 9.3 cups EJ22 makes me feel like my **** is 2.8 decimeters!

enthusiast
Yeah Michael kept giving me funny looks when I was taking pictures but I did not care. He is a good guy. I will be going back soon, he noticed that my clutch slave cylinder was bad. Did not look to bad to replace but I will be having him installing other parts as well. SubieBlkOut
Anybody know of a good deal for a front windshield? Mine has a giant crack that I have been pulled over for once already. It has only been on the car for a year!?!?! One of my neighbors owns Chip Magic on Broadway and quoted me $250 (his whole sale price with the heating element and new trim) from the place that he gets windshields. He also looked at mine and said that it is 'cheap' glass and that his place uses better/stronger glass that should last longer. Anyone have any insight on this. I thought all windshields were created equal?
