If the cover on the legacy is such a big deal for proper air flow into the tmic then How does the sti get away with not having an engine cover.

I'm looking for some great window tent in the springs. This is what I have now, not sure what % it is because it came stock when I bought it in AZ. I would like to go darker if possible.
