cmc032
I know some car wash soaps can be harmful to you inter cooler. What do you guys do when you bring your car to the wash or wash it yourselves?
whobaru
It's probably best to just avoid the car wash all-together. There's just no way to be sure the soap doesn't get in there.

ih8vtec13
if you give your intercooler a spray down with some WD40 before going into the carwash you should be OK, That should make the water not able to touch it. Do it right outside the carwash so you have a nice thick coat on there when you go through.

cmc032
I remember reading a thread that said that soap could potentially cause the intercooler to melt. Is this true or just a myth?
