SnoDork
Ditch the goofy B4 emblem on the RBS grille, and you have a winner. yah! that thing is going, it came with the grille (used.) I did the swap lastnight and took some quick pictures. I may just put a subaru emblem in the middle and call it a day! ~Sucka-Duck~
Gire
I have a SWP RBS grille (with OEM blue stars emblem) for my summer grille. It's as JDM as I could hope for and looks like how the car should have come from the dealer. As Mines puts it above: My stock grille got the DGM colour treatment on the outside frame and the wings were left chrome (like the other JDM grille option). As a 'winter grille' it looks pretty great too. I can't believe how much I lucked out last year finding a Duplicolour rattle can that matched the metallic off-black headlight paint on the '05 headlights perfectly. (I'll have to read the sku number later tonight on the can). I even painted my RBS chin spoiler the same colour and it all matches up perfectly. psucaptainkickass
I like A, just because I hate the gap on the bottom of B. And yes I know you can cardboard it up..but still something about it doesn't line up right...to me at least.

And yes I know you can cardboard it up..but still something about it doesn't line up right...to me at least. I installed the RBS grille for the sake of the pictures. i haven't had time to shim up the bumper skin and address the gap, maybe i'll try it tonight. ~Sucka-Duck~

SnoDork
i do have to agree, OEM fitment vs RBS fitment, OEM will always win...i'll "massage" the RBS today and shim up the bumper and retake a photo... Thanks fellas for your great opinions and ideas!! ~Sucka-Duck~
hutru01
OEM DGM surround, not to mention the RBS doesn't fit all that well. I say be different. Do what you like though. I am thinking about painting my stock grill black to match my foglight covers.
