collegemt
My 2008 LGT with just 35% tinted windows. But i am at stage 2, working on performance mods first, I would like some sort of grill. Any options? http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/10/web/2962000-2962999/2962064_9_full.jpg http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/10/web/2962000-2962999/2962064_10_full.jpg http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/10/web/2962000-2962999/2962064_12_full.jpg http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/10/web/2962000-2962999/2962064_13_full.jpg http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/10/web/2962000-2962999/2962064_11_full.jpg
MGV101
Everything I've seen in this thread are all "meh" compared to: http://www.legacygt.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1604639&postcount=987 But that's just my opinion. Meh! Other than the brakes which I am currently drooling over, almost every Legacy in Hong Kong have that Spec.B look (be it a real Spec.B or just a 2.0GT with the front bumper and grill swap) and I am getting really tired of it! deeslk
Would love to get the JDM Mesh grill for our 08 but I read here someone said it wasn't a exact fit and needed quite a bod of modification, could be wrong but that's an option.
nemo
^ i was quite disappointed when i read that. I was actually about to order one last week. Good thing I held off. If you don't vote Trump, out, you're a bigot who hates america.

BigInALegacy
None finished IIRC... although he did have some grill inserts that would cover up the holes at least... but I don't think he ended up painting them. ?

Guest
vratenza... Dude has the same bumper...he's wearin the lip we're lookin for. It's just a matter of time. IT IS NOT THE SAME BUMPER It's been beaten to death. The bumper looks very alike, but it's different. The front surface is vertical vs. slanted on the USDM. Of course the fog lamp surrounds are different. Whether the lip fit or not is another matter.

BTW, what is your ride lowered with? Mine's with Bilstein shock and STI springs. Mine's the same rims as yours except slightly different spec: 18X8 offset +44 on contisportscontact 3 (225/40/18)
MGV101
I'm on stock bilstein with STi pinks here but will be switching to ohlins DFV coilovers soon. The STi pinks are a special set of pinks though. They are supposed to the springs which came with the 06 and 07 tuned by STi which had a slightly stiffer damper. They work great on the stock bilstein dampers too but when fitted on a wagon, I think the back end is a little low. wow, you got some pretty extreme offset there using +44 on 8" wide weels. Do you get any fender rubbing at the back when fully loaded??

The reason for getting the +44 offset is so that it can fit my Endless 6 pot front brake kit that is coming next month. Anyway, I think this offset sits pretty flushed with the fender wall...I like that look. I have absolutely no fender rubbing issue even when fully loaded. loserpro2
hey mgv101, your 08/07 wagon is stock for the body kit right? how come the rear seems to look so thick though...i thought it was shorter with the exhaust tips showing... and nice blacked out lights at the back! Actually, I've changed to the spec B front grill and the rear bumper is from Corazon so no, it's not exactly stck. The tail lights at the back are actually LED replacement lights from hanabi and not custom blacked out lights although I did black out the front headlights myself. Anyway, the exhaust tip doesn't exactly stick out all the way even while the stock bumper is still on. The outer most part of the bumper actually extends out much further than the stock muffler although as it curves in at the bottom, the exhaust tip will start to show. A lot of people here are having problems with the exhaust tip on the stock muffler as once they put on a rear bumper lip, the exhaust would be hidden by the lip. You should be able to see that problem on the third picture I have posted below on the wagon furthest away.
vratenza
are those quad tip sti mufflers?
MGV101
Yup! They looked great and matches the corazon bumper perfectly but performance wise they are pretty much useless. Had a few test runs with another stock legacy up to roughly 60-70mph and really, the difference is marginal. Maybe a pro tune will make a difference but I have yet to see any tuning service offered for the newer JDM Legacy with CAN Bus.
vratenza
you prob need to have some intake mods and go for tuning in order to extract power from them...but that said. the STI exos is only the mufflers and not the whole deal right? I'm still a sucker for quad tip look... Yours is the JDM 2.0 GT right? Mine's the 2.5GT... over here, we just have ECUTEK made available for our 2.5GT....we have guys over here getting 30-40BHP gain just on drop in filter and nothing else changed, ie pretty stock....what's so cool about this is that they can tune the 3 maps of the SI-Drive...so you can have a crazy map....a super crazy map and an insane map!.... I'm trying to hold back going for the tune until I'm done with all my intake and exhaust mod... But getting an authority approved exos here is really PITA unfortunately...
