bugaboo90
Did you do this on the 2013 nav?
motorob
Worked great on 2008 Outback but no note on Vehicle Signal screen for parking brake, you have to test drive to see if it worked. Thanks XiiiXiii!!!
That Guy 2-1
I see different versions of the screen between years. Mines a 2008 that I just installed a NAV unit from an older car; prob 05/06 and my interface is the older while some with newer cars have a more updated screen. My nav dvd is prob the original, is that something with the dvd version or with the hardware itself? Did the interdace change with dvd updates? AkumaMax
you would need a software update on the screen and since it is not installed OS wise there is no way to do it. This is what I was told when asking the dealer about it.

BIH6
Hi, Im new to this forum. This is a great thread! I was looking to try this out on my 07 Subaru Liberty (australia) Spec.b though i found that my cable that plugs into the GPS DVD different to what is shown in this thread. I have attached a photo of my cars plug which has a green cable in the socket that I am meant to earth. I tried earthing the green cable but it did not work. Does anybody know what the solution is for me? Ben
dug-e-fresh
Does this work on the 09 specB nav (w/toyo 13.1 maps)? I do not have the pbk signal in display either. Mine seems to work off of speed. But that said, does grounding this pin override the speed input or something? thx
