Wow! I'm right there with you man on the old skool CB750. I was born in '71 and saw these things tooling around when I was a kid. I see one every not and then in Manhattan and love 'em still. Whoever thought a Honda would be a classic??? But it surely is!!! Reminds me of the old Bonneville 650/750 Triumphs. Sweet ride man. I say pick one up if you have the chance!!

my first bike was a new '67 Triumph Daytona when i got out of the service i sold the Triumph and bought a new '72 CB750 cutting edge for the times.

btw thats a nice CB750 and all stock, wow.

Here is the bike I want to get.

 

1975 Honda CB750. Old school classic for me. I want to get a 75' because it was the year I was born.

 

My second bike was a '74 CB750 with the orange metalflake...

 

My current touring ride, '94 BMW R1100RS, and last track ride, '06 GSR-R1000:

^ i wouldn't touch that CB 750 leave it stock find a beater to make a cafe racer. bosco

 

+1... they're getting hard to find in nice shape... and that one looks nice. Total dinosaur by modern standards, but still very cool... :D

^^^ looks like a fancy bandit...comfortable ride, just not real sporty.

 

 

You'd be suprised. With the hard luggage gone a fellow rider and MSF instructor was dragging his knee (and pegs) through the turns at one of our local track days. I also found it difficult to get past him on the 170 mph front straight aboard my modified RSV1000.
