Edvig
Since CC-B completely dropped the ball on getting European parts for me, I contacted Cheam Motors, www.cheammotors.co.uk, in England last week. Their super store website doesn't have any Legacy parts on it but I emailed them the part numbers that I pulled from the subaru.co.uk site and then called them with my CC #. One week late I received my parts. I picked up a set of mudflaps, rain visors and an arm rest extension that gives you an additional storage compartment (instead of the stupid folding one that we get here)! LandShark
OK Edvig, Obvious questions: 1. Can you list the part no.s and pricing you paid (itemize shipping costs)? 2. Can you post pics of the "Euro" arm rest extension?
Edvig
Arm rest extension or the Dual Console Box as they call it. http://www.subaru.co.uk/IMGGB/WWW/Subaru_Accessories.nsf/WebInternetAccessories/0A6531D97290B09C80256E4A005C5A6E?Opendocument I don't have an itemized shipping cost. It cost 55 Pounds to overnight all my parts to NY from England.
LandShark
Would you mind saying what the total price paid for all the parts was?

mattz
Edvig, Can you provide more details about the armrest? How about some real life pics? Also, does it extend up and out like the USDM one? That pic from the UK site makes it look light gray.
Edvig
It's similar to the one that I have in my WRX. It's a storage cubby with a hinge on it. I received it today so there are no pics yet. I'll post pics as soon as I have a chance to put it in the car.
P06781
How much $ were the mudflaps?
Edvig
With due respect to the vendors of this site (except for CC-B, who has been completely unhelpful), I'd rather not post the prices that I paid for the parts. I'm sure if you send an email to Cheam Motors, they will get back to you with a price. King of Imports is also carrying them as well. I'll have pics of the parts as soon as I can get them on the car :)

Edvig
jim1969: the dual console box/arm rest is designed to use the stock lid. Unilat: for some reason the Cheam site doesn't have any Legacy parts on the store site. The 05 Legacy accessory parts are listed on the Subaru UK site as "Legacy 2004MY onward" The new body style came out as a 2004 model in the UK. mattz
I know how you feel. Does the EDM one lift up and outward like the USDM one? Is the only difference that the EDM one provides for extra storage? Can't wait to see some pics... Thanks!
Edvig
The EDM one doesn't fold up and down like the USDM does. It comes as a storage box and uses the factory cover. It sits on top of the center console and screws into the factory cover/cushion location. I have pretty much the same deal in my WRX, except at the time they called it the armrest extension. The Subaru UK site calls it the dual console box. Pics will be up shortly. :)
jennjay
Does the EDM move the rest forward as well as elevating it? If it does not, I think we might be better off with the USDM extension.
