"Let's face it. We're not changing the world. We're building a product that helps people buy more crap -- and watch porn." Seagate CEO Bill Watkins

I almost choked when I first heard Uncle Bill said that. Lotsa cheerin behind closed doors that day.

With the downward spiral of the Tribeca & the dropping of the Baja along with no more LGT wagon.............

Doesn't sound good:(:(:(

It really does surprise me Subaru has not @ least addressed the lack of power. Make it a fun SUV & people will still buy it:rolleyes:

Toyota 6EATS .........SUCK!!!!!!

it's just ugly. I couldn't even get my wife to sit in one after she saw it from across the dealer's lot. "no thanks" was all she said. It's really the perfect second vehicle for us, had it been somewhat more neutral in appearance. The '08 redesign needs to be a homerun to get the program on track.

Def has some truth to that statement.......

When it comes to vehicles there looks are down on the list quite a way. Another SUV that I really like is on it's way out this year, the Trailblazer SS:(:(

See? It has plenty of power. That market is not about power or handling, quite the contrary, it mostly about fashion.

Unfortunately you are right:(:(

Time for a Escalade I guess.....good looks & 420hp:):)

There is no way I'd drop 50k+ on the SRT8 jeep.....

BTW.....this would be for the wifey, I simply cannot get her out of the Landbruiser

Toyota 6EATS .........SUCK!!!!!!

Saturn? Aura finally a decent main stream car.

Absolute gem of a car. Right in the sweet spot.

Now lets see if they screw the strategy all up. Remember GM is a company that only thinks of the now.

Subaru Forester recorded 2,971 units in February, while Baja posted 217 units for the month. Subaru Impreza posted a strong 2,946 units in February.

Why aren't they selling more Legacies? Next year we're gonna be reading they sold 4,000 outbacks and 1,000 legacies.

so, Legacy almost outsells Forester and Impreza combined, yet there's no need for a wagon.

edit - damn SOA counting OB's as a subset of L's.

On a lighter note, 900 people saw past the styling of the Tribeca and drove one home

Well then they just need to step up their game. Direct injection, memory seats, etc.

That isn't going to cut it. People will not even shop Subaru when they can get the same thing (in their minds) at the Honda, Nissan or Toyota dealer. Do you think the average buyer has any idea what direct injection even is?

A Subaru buyer isnt your everage buyer though. And the ones who can afford it are debating betweent Subaru and Audi.

My expirience was to go look at Honda when my dad said it was time to get rid of our Prelude. However, he also wanted to go to Subaru, a company which we knew nothing about. We went with the Subaru obviously because their cars had more attractive features.
