The Halo and Premium's does a double sweep start up. it cannot be changed. The Performance series electrical gauges does a single sweep/selfcheck. (not as busy).

Thank you for the quick response. I liked the Halos mainly for aesthetic reasons (they seem to match the LGT cluster very well, but maybe I'll just stick with my trusty old prosport mechanical.

It sounds like you have the gauges hooked up to a dimmable circuit (wrong). The orange wire needs to be on a full 12v circuit. I can only guess you are tied into the clock circuit. I suggest you either A) turn up the dimmer switch or B) wire the orange wire to the "tail lamps" fuse/circuit.

 

whats strange is that it worked fine before. ill take a look to see what we did. i installed it a while back
