SubLo Posted May 7, 2007 Share Posted May 7, 2007 Well, I wanted to do it myself. I've done my system on my last few cars, love doing it, and get exactly what I want. However, I don't have a garage anymore living on my own. I rent a space in a large garage in an apartment building that has no electricity and seemingly little tolerance for working on my car there. So, I gathered all my pieces that I wanted, did some research and headed to Auto Sound Boys on 21st Street near 30th ave (Astoria). This is after hitting up a half-dozen or so other installers. However, the 21st St location didn't have space at the time and referred me to their Queens Village location. These guys were the only ones who had done a CleanSweep install previously. I also wanted to get a gander at their work on other cars before I reluctantly agreed to the deal. I did. Pretty clean good looking work. So off I went to Auto Sound Boys on Jamaica Ave and 210th St. I showed the guys all my components, examined their previous work, chatted a bit, haggled, showed them my pre-printed list of demands on how/where/when including pictures courtesy of LGT.com and agreed to the job for $430 (all labor - all my own hardware). It took 2 guys, on and off, about 5 hours. I'm pretty happy with the work. Sounds awesome. I you want to see/hear it before going down there, I'll be happy to show it to you - PM me.
