rallispec
search -- it's common. It's a non serious check engine light. (you've got worry if you see the CEL light flashing instead of the cruise control) YOu have a few options - 1) go to the dealer and get the error code pulled and fixed 2) go to autozone, they'll pull the code for free. Then you fix how you see fit. 3) plug the connectors under the dash - and use the car to display the code for you: http://www.legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2895 4) tighten your gas cap, unplug your battery - then reconnect it. 9 times out of 10 that is the problem on a car with no modifactions. tundwgn
Vinni...I ran my car on dyno and it threw CEL and cruise flashed steadily, the dyno seemed to dislike my car for some reason. One code was for Auto Transmission and the other was speed sensing. Reset and they've yet to come back.
Guest *Jedimaster*
I had one last weekend- it really pissed me off until I used my AP to clear the code.

rony
Get this... Kinda off topic but on topic.. Last week I removed my EGT resister mod and reinstalled the Factory EGT in the up pipe. I wanted to record some temps, I know not a good spot to see the temp.. Anyways, so I removed the EGT probe and didn't put back the resistor mod. I had base flashed my car back to stock map, took it to bodyshop, then back to protune. Now, mind you, the EGT sensor and the CEL for it are deleted in the Protune map. Well, I was cruising down the highway and BAM, CEL, cruise flashing... Scared the shite out of me..... Pull the car over and check the code, P0546 (EGT Sensor problem). I don't know why this came up, but I reset it and was on my way. Later that night, I reinstalled the resistor mod. My Car vBGarage
