PGT
I have a Brembo kit on the way from Opie and Mastro Subaru. So, do I leave it au natural: http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y124/PatagonianGT/brembo.jpg or, paint them black gloss or black gloss and stencil the Brembo logo on (what color? Silver? White?). Keep in mind, I have silver STi wheels and charcoal Rota Formulas. http://us.st11.yimg.com/store1.yimg.com/I/eagleday_1882_133660 http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v623/thesupremechooch/DSC00638.jpg

Mines
leave it just the way it is. IF it came in black, i would also say to leave as is.
warnoldscu
I honestly don't like the gold color on the brembos and would definitely paint them... I voted for black with the silver logo, but I also think it would look good painted silver with maybe a black logo or something - mostly I just like the silver brakes. MDork
leave em be in case you ever want to resell (EDIT: did you forget youre getting married??). besides...painting brembos seems like a terrible idea!
edmundu
I'm partial to the first option! Seriously, to do the job right will cost $$$. They'll need to be bead blasted, then powder coated, clear coated, and have the brembo either painted or stickered under the clear coat. For the money, you could have just gotten the Stoptech's, which would have included floating 2pc rotors.
rao
Are you nuts? http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies2/twak.gif Really. Rob IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CAR YOU SHOULD NEVER DRIVE IT
Gt4Me
Leave 'em be. Gold color stops better! Black absorbs heat thus brake fade. What is wrong with you!
drewster
since they are already gold, i'd leave 'em that way. But if there was a choice for a different color I'd probably have gone with anything but the gold, didn't really like it on the STi nor the G35, it just introduces another metallic color that doesn't match anything else on the car. Given that you've got the STi wheels, why not have the look of the STi brakes as well. (although you're paying good money for the brembos, people will think you just got takeoffs from an STi ) not that we really care what people think.... PhilT
Brembos are like cellphones, just buy a different clip on cover to match your mood http://i11.ebayimg.com/04/i/05/35/17/3f_1.JPG Double Award Winning Legacy GT Wagon
PGT
Are you nuts? http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies2/twak.gif Really. Nuts to buy them? Nuts to paint them? I got a quote of $200 to have them professionally repainted.....teardown, beadblast, paint, logo and clearcoat, then rebuild. I'm considering that and a ghetto garage respray as I have a spray setup in the garage.

PGT
it's not pink - it's cherry red if that's what it takes you to justify it What's interesting is the history of color.....a century ago, pink was a 'power' color for men.....not worn by women. Odd how things change, huh??
