  1. I wouldnt mind in the future getting a clean lancer evolution X at a resonable price if thats possible to be used as a daily like my liberty, I currently own a subaru so wouldn't mind owning it's rival to at some point, that way i've ticked off owning both on my list of "to do things" one day, maybe one day.
  2. When I had my motor rebuilt a new exedy Hd unit went in, with re-surface of the stock fly wheel, heavier than oem without it being too heavy, a bit annoying in heavy stop go traffic as she doesn't like being slipped in low rpms, more of a rev then relase deal, even with my car tuning she holds up well so far, but not alot of kms on it atm as still fresh.....
  3. I supposed the alternative is to import a nissan skyline r32 gtr as the are now over the 25 year mark, became legal for import in 2014? if my facts are incorrect feel free to educate me on importing cars into usa as this differers from australia......
  4. well i guess if thats where your interest lies and you have funding, time, paitence ect you'll go ahead with projects if it seems worthwhile to you i suppose. Same case with modding my 5th gen lgt.....
  5. oks I see, i thought those modern day american muscle cars like the dodge charger hellcat, cadillac cts-v, chrysler 300c were like the v8 equivilants for you guys in the states in relation to the chevrolet ss.
  6. if you are in australia you'll see lots of those or similar v8 powered models here on a daily basis, same with the ford falcon equiviliant....... We only just got the mustang as replacent for the falcons not long ago....
  7. Unforunatelly for me its usally those "odd balls" in most cases that usually catch my eye as for something different from the rest of the crowd deal.
  8. Pitty these things didn't ever come out 2 Australia cause i'd serioulsy considered one of those if they existed out down under, closest to that is the Brumby or the Brat i believe its also know as in other countries........
  9. I wouldn't call it necessarily a next car but as for the "unique factor" i would love to get my hands on a Liberty B4 3GEN 2 start my collection. Only if i had a spare 9k Aud lying around......
  10. Anyone here by any chance is running themselves or knows someone who's running a Bc coilover BC V1 (F-14-VH) or a Br Rh (F-14-RH) on their car atm, considering possibly purchasing on of these two listed above in the near future. Just wanted to know how they hold up, hows the firmness, adjust ability, any issues ect with them. http://bcracing.com.au/f-14-rh http://bcracing.com.au/f-14-vh
  11. Came close to purchasing a Autech stage myself that was well looked after and pretty clean but I needed something with good long term reliability and something that wasn't going to cost big dollars maintenance wise since it was going to be daily driver. I still kind of regret not purchasing it though to this day still....... -sighs-
  12. Yes that is true, they are far by no means cheap here in Australia.
  13. I would've loved to get that spoke design here in Australia, TSW Nurburgring, BBS are like $500Aud each over here. -.-
  14. That's a nice looking set of wheels, what wheels are those?
  15. How much it ended up costing you for a kit like that if you don't mind me asking? You can pm me answer if you wish.
  16. Out of curiosity I thought after stage two you have to start upgrading engine internals like pistons, rods, cam shafts ect? or is that sort of stuff needed once you are pushing for like much larger gains? Just asking because i've noticed how aftermarket TMIC's, fuel pumps, larger injectors are common upgrades as well turbos in some cases with a few of you guys. I'm just not that familiar with common modifications after stage 2 that's all.
  17. Thanks for the information guys, Yer I'm getting the bars and work done via a performance shop here in the Sydney area, rear bar looked oks, front bar I too was surprised how it was set up.
  18. Cheers, also how dose the different settings effect the handling characteristics of the car, like soft, medium, hard ect?
  19. wow i didn't realize the front bar was such a pain to do the install. Oks thanks for the information, I was hoping that they would both be a simple install and doable at home......
  20. Hi there, At the moment I am looking at getting a 24mm front sway bar and also the 22mm rear sway bar by whiteline, going onto a 2010 subaru liberty gt manual, located in Australia I am , sydney, I was wondering whats the go in terms of simplicity of the install of these bar? I am unsure whether to purchase and get everything done through a shop or whether to do install on the weekend with my dad whos mechanically minded. Any experience here with installing of the white line bars? how long it take roughly, is it simple or complicated ect.
