But now i have a flashing check engine light and the obd2 scanner won't connect to the car, turns on, but doesn't read. Obviously have some misfiring going on. Also got out smelling like gas lol. Xxchakalatexx Posted December 1, 2016 Author Share Posted December 1, 2016 On the plus side i forgot to hook up the knock sensor and the plugs for the passenger side coil packs were backwards. After getting everything right, i went for a ride and soon developed just the p0301 code. Already swtiched coil packs between cylinder 1 and 3. And the spark plug looked fine when i pulled it out of cylinder 1. Not quite sure where to go next other than possible timing. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Might work...? 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it.
