nned4spd
I saw the Legacy 2.5 GT spec.B Limited yesterday at a local dealer and they were asking MSRP plus were giving the Subie incentives. The wheels looked better in person. Too bad this is the only one to get the red leather.
GranTourer
Eh, I saw the spec. B on Saturday and wasn't really impressed. The "red" interior looked awful. I would be green with envy if it had that nice JDM blue on black leather interior. The only thing that suprised me was the stance, definately not like it is in the media where it looks likes it's on stilts.
volkgt
I've got spec B #129 for below sticker with 10 miles on it. Has auto-dim mirror w/ compass, center armrest extension, splash guards, and the security system upgrade. MSRP = $35,

spec.B-Jay
Hey everyone! I just got spec.B #312 on Monday. I paid about $1500 under sticker. Sticker was $35,700... fully loaded with spoiler, Momo shiftknob, and of course nav, CD in dash changer, heated seats, moonroof, etc... I LOVE this car!! I'll post some more pics this weekend when it's light out, it just gets so dark so early nowadays ...

Subarex
Has anyone driven both a spec B and a Regular GT? I'd like to hear about some of the differences in driving dynamics.

cschneider
I just picked up my new 05 LGT LTD and saw the dealer's Spec B sitting in the showroom looking almost good enough for me to reconsider spending another $8K. I ended up driving the LGT home but the manager said they hadn't had a whole lot of interest in it yet. He also said they would never even consider selling a car above sticker, even the Spec B. Sure was a nice looking car!
spec.B-Jay
Has anyone driven both a spec B and a Regular GT? I'd like to hear about some of the differences in driving dynamics. I have. There is noticeably more body roll when pushed in the corner for the standard GT. I wasn't really allowed to get into the throttle much - it was just a test drive. Supposedly the acceleration and power are the same, and I see no reason to doubt that.

PGT
can you measure your rear sway bar?
BrownBoy
Gillman Subaru Southwest has no. 498/500. I wonder who will get no. 500. If I had a bit more money than I have now, I think I would have picked up the Spec. B if I could get no. 1 or no. 500...or maybe a wierd no. like no. 13 or no.69 or something. BMG905
Can't say I'm overly inspired to pony up $5-7K more for the B-Spec if it isn't faster or better looking than the GT or the LTD. If they offered it with 300hp and 6 speeds I might be tempted, but I'll just stay with my 98 GT for now and save up for a new GT in the spring. Any feedback on the 5 speed Auto with the Turbo 2.5, I have the 4 speed Auto now with the 2.5 NA motor and it takes finesse with the shifter to ge the car launched into highway traffic sometimes, the low end is too weak and you need revs to launch onto Jersey freeways. I find it requires a delicate touch to get the shifter into 2nd gear without going too far into 1st. Upshifting can be finicky too, sometimes going past D into N if you tap the shifter too hard from 3rd.
melayout
The 5EAT is very good, you should try to get a ride from the local peeps. I should caution you MBlock66's ride is a "lil" peppy. I keed I keeed
BMG905
Thanks for the info on the 5EAT, it sure helps to have an auto in Jersey driving. It saves on clutch replacements and aggravation.
