Kawasaki laughs at the 200hp ducati with the H2R. A 1000cc supercharged 300hp monster. It isn't street legal though but rumos are they are making a street legal version with upwards of 200hp... as the current zx10r is a 170+hp bike.

Didn't get to watch the whole video. Just read "so you think you bike or car is fast?" And I had just read the article about the h2r, which is probably the fastest bike that will be for sale to consumers in 2015. Even though it isn't street legal.

And yes the big 4 japanese companies all make some of the best bikes out there. I was watching a special on moto GP bikes and bikes in general and some of the engineers were saying the reason japan made and still makes some of the best bikes is because of WWII. The engineers were no longer allowed to design aircrafts after the war. So they went on too design motorcycles. Something about the forces of the two wings translating into similar forces the two bike tires deal with.

I have always been a honda guy when it comes to bikes but they all make models that are spot on with the others. So it is really just personal preference.

Impressive if done in one take.

I'm guessing that it really was done in one take. Lots of their videos are just one very long very amazingly choreographed take.

There's a bobble at 1:09, I didn't see it at first but someone commented and yeah, that was definitely a mistake, and they definitely knew it. That could easy be fixed with editing, but they left it in. Which makes me think this was probably the best of single take from multiple attempts... With a take that long, it's probably cause for celebration when only one thing goes wrong.

And it looks like much of it was recorded at half speed. If they were going to use CG or editing, then why bother with that?

I'm calling "legit" on this one. :)
