I think if you cut it to the instructions it may be too short. Yup, I only noticed a slight difference between stock and STi Pinks on my 05 LGT when I had switched over to them. Nothing that a competent driver couldn't compensate for, even on the track. -mike

Used stocks for a year on track, no issues, just not as low as other springs. Definitely a good combination. -mike

I would personally start with the easy things: The belt is probably due for replacement, so do that, can't hurt at this point. Use a turkey baster to suck out as much of the fluid from the reservoir as you can and put in some Redline Synthetic Power Steering fluid. If the problem persists then pursue the o-ring replacement route. -mike

I cut a flap into the carpet so I could pull it out and adjust it. Yeah, the oil/spray oil will get washed away, especially in this environment in NY/NJ where we get a lot of water spray, puddles, and misc. fluids/excrements shot up under the cars all year long. WD40 is not a lubricant, it is actually a water displacement (WD) solution, so you'll want to apply grease on them. We have had great luck with the McMaster-Carr. We use either the Home Depot wire loom stuff or the McMaster tubing. I think the mcmaster is better/more durable but costs more and is a bit of a PITA to install.
