Sorry for the leaving y'all hanging. Work and home life have been extremely demanding, so I've had to split what little extra time I've had between coordinating, and prepping my car. Thanks for the patience!
Unfortunately, I photoshop has not been cooperating with my laptop, so I couldn't complete this year's banner how I would have liked to. I apologize for recycling, but here is this year's banner, time line to follow.
Timeline:
Pre-Meet starts at 8:15am, here at Starbucks, where you can grab your morning coffee!
Then, we'll leave the Pre-Meet for Wagonfest no later than 8:45am. We will be going on a fun little drive that is on the way up to Snoqualmie, I think y'all will really enjoy the route.
We'll get to DirtFish right about 9:40/9:45am and hopefully find some good parking.
When people are ready to go we'll plan to grab a late lunch afterwards at the Black Diamond Bakery/Restaurant, a favorite spot in the valley with a great view of Rainer.
Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns. All are welcome, but BP chassis are welcomed more. See y'all Saturday!
Thanks for putting this together again this year!

Oh I’m stoked for Saturday!

I knew it was in the forecast, just didn't expect it as heavy as it is, or during my morning commute. I have to get over a mountain pass to get to WagonFest anyway, so I was fully expecting to have to at least go over the car with a quick detailer on the other side. Fresh coat of wax should make that fairly simple.

Lovely headlights. Where did you get the Griot kit? All I can find up here is Mother's or Meguiars.
Ordered it from their online shop, though apparently they distribute to O'Reilley's and Autozones in Washington. They have a few places in Canada, but not close to Ottawa. https://www.griotsgarage.com/store-locator/

One of the things that should be noted for a pre-meet is that the show starts at 10am this year, not 11 like last year. Last year we had enough time to grab coffee, look at each other's cars, take a cruise around Mercer Island, and still get to the show ontime.
@Febreze MeeHave you put any thought into a meet at all? Do we want to meet somewhere closer, like in Issaquah, at 9 instead?

Started prettying up the wagon for WagonFest this weekend. Started with the headlights and Griot’s “extreme” restoration kit. Pretty good results, I’d say!
Before, not too bad for 17 years, but a little haze:
After:
Tomorrow will be a nice wash, clay, and wax, and hopefully time to at least vacuum the inside.

I got my tickets and am going! See y'all there! My plates say HYDR8. If ya see me, come up and say hi.
We'll probably be having a BP pre-meet & cruise in the morning, if you're in the area early (or coming up friday & staying). It was nice last year, because then a lot of us BP folks arrived together and parked in a cluster.

Tickets for PNW WagonFest are now available. I've got mine!

I'll be coming over too, but probably staying with my parents in Snoqualmie. Down for some pre/post meetups though.

For those of us in the PNW, I noticed WagonFest has a date for 2022.

It got bid up to $18,550, but did hit the reserve.
-
Well with that listed price, I don't think the auction will hit reserve.

Reviving this because there's an interesting one on BAT right now. Ends in a couple of hours. Using "interesting" loosely, here. Definitely not my thing, but apparently it's someone's.

Open Source w/ tactrix cable?
Cobb may not be a viable option for a lot of people going forward, now...

Check out posts 5 & 6 from this. Looks like your best bet is using a thin flexible piece of metal or plastic to push the child lock back to "free" from the inside.

^ My cousin is in line for the 1st one that arrives at his dealership!
I've got an autocrosser friend who's first in line at her dealership, and I'm first in line for when she inevitably sells the car after a season.

Thread coming soon for my wagon suspension rebuild (and general ownership log). But in the meantime, and recommendations on getting a full front lower control arm to bolt up? I bought them all afternoon and am stuck.
I can get it close and get a nut on the ball joint, but nothing else is lining up. Thoughts?

WOW, that's a lot of money...
And the new owner needs to have the timing belt done before they drive it too much, too. So another ~1k ontop of that.
