  1. Lasted way longer than I thought it would. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Any reason for doing a whole quarter instead of just the dog leg wheel arch? I'm not sure what the actual section recommendations are on the quarter but I know you can get replacement dog legs, probably aftermarket I guess. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Haha I knew all of that but rr and I lived in utah for a while. That's sweet I didn't realize there was a retrofitter there. I'd like to do my own but it's lower priority. Suspension and then the bmw. I wonder if they make a drop in kit for the high beam, didn't realize there was something that would fit in there. Not that I'd looked much yet. 4. Well after about three weeks the wagon is up again. Mostly thanks to awfulwaffle for getting the old stripped stud out and also having the elbow I needed for the turbo inlet. New turbo inlet, throttle body hose, grimmspeed up pipe, and put in the sensor for the oil pressure gauge. Nice to drive it again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Oh my.... What projectors did you go with? It all looks phenomenal. Now you just need some led fogs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Hey all those arms, definitely an air octopus. Or quadropus? Paint it black and get the inserts from the base sedan. Also if you REALLY wanted fogs, there are plenty of projectors that would fit there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I left the lower clamp off. 40k and no leaks, but it was still really difficult to get off. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I really like my raceseng knob. Good shape and weight and the delrin part doesn't get too hot. Expensive though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. The Tacoma forums have done crazy fog light comparisons, I forgot about them but I read some stuff from there a few years back. Glad to see they are still going at it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Are they a different lamp set up then the lgt? They look the same but jdm cool kid.... Do you notice a big difference in the pro vs the max? I've been eyeballing them and was planning to get the pro before the max came out. Looks like a big difference but also $$$. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I had to have awfulwaffle weld my old control arm to the ball joint and then three of us with hammers and pry bars finally got the old ball joint out. Car isn't even that rusty, but I seem to have problems with stuck stuff so I'm just planning to have to cut everything out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. The outback was released worldwide. Popular swap is front or rear outback ends, pretty much the only thing that works unless you wanted to change out the doors and do a bunch of work. If you have a facelift outback you'll need to get a replacement hood as well. Jdm rear gets you exhaust cut outs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. This would be great cuz I was on one of the oem sites trying to buy new bolts for when I put on the coilovers. I stopped at $150. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Those mufflers and y pipe only work together. Why not just throw them on with longer hangers? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. The front aluminum arms don't save much weight. A few pounds. The rear trailing arms are by far the biggest difference. Underdog weighed them all at some point with stock spec b which should be close enough. Rear trailing arms are $$$ though. I only did the fronts because I needed ball joints and bushings and it didn't cost a ton more. Wish I'd just bought new knuckles and bearings though. Also theres some reports of the mevo ball joints start to clunk after a year or two. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. https://northshoreracks.com/racks/folding-nsr-6-bike/ Not many that hold 5 but this is one of the best ones over 4 I've seen. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. The mevotech? Nothing. Put them on. Maybe you could swap the ball joints to more durable ones like moogs. And the typical subaru ball joint problems. But otherwise no nothing special, they are the same thing as the spec b arms. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Yea at that rate I'd say go for it. I thought that might be your car honestly. Look at Northshore racks too. Idk if they are too tall for our cars but the youngest can't ride on your back forever! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I used am excedy oe flywheel. I recall it being... Textured. I would say like sand paper, more like machined. Not glass. Been a while though maybe I'm wrong. 40k no issues and while I cleaned it with brake clean, it sat outside under a tarp for a few days before going in. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Honestly, a 4 bike hitch rack is pretty rough. That's why I still have 2 roof racks. With 4 bike trays the things weight over 80lbs, are super tall when folded, and kinda difficult to carry around. I mean if you are normally taking 4 people and 4 bikes I guess that is what it is. But most people I know go 1 or 2 people with the occasional 3 or 4. I got the smaller kuat because cheaper, I already had roof racks, and at under 40lbs just about anyone can move it around. 21. What license plate is that? The great white north (Canada)? It's cool looking. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. This is before the maf that's why no tune needed, it'll adjust for airflow and intake temp. Anything before the maf and after the cat o2 sensor doesn't effect the tune. Does Cali care about anything before the maf? This would be similar to running without the snorkel. I think it'd be odd to care about such a thing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. That's gotta be one of the smallest deer hits I've ever seen. The worst they had to send home the poor wash kid because he kept vomiting. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Yep that's pretty much exactly what I'm referring to. I never let it stay that hot long enough to know if it plateaus or not. Talking to someone who ran our cars at rallycross they felt that mid load was hard on cooling because you're not getting as much cooling from the fuel as full throttle driving like on a track. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Nice. I'll be interested to see what experience you get in the summer going up snow canyon and such. See if you get added heat soak at low speed. Were you one of the few that had similar cooling issues to me? Mid load on hot days going up canyons? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
