  1. Hmmm. The loose feel of the steering wheel? This is what I have been loosing my mind about for the last 2 YEARS! I want my rack replaced!!
  2. Awesome post.. I have been on the fence about choosing the perrin or TS lockdown.. I'm going with the TS.. It seems like a better fit.. As no one has had to loosen any bolts to get it in.. I'm not about to mess around with that. The perrin model seems a little bit thicker.. Hopeful this cures my PROBLEM.
  3. It is what it is. I have owned and driven many cars. The car has a dead spot on center that needs constant micro adjustments or you are going into another lane on the highway. At this point only thing that would make it stable would be to drop the front end with neg camber and go toe in. Blah. And if you don't notice a problem with your legacy, luckily dense enough to not notice.
  4. I have a 2015 3.6R. I did the RSB 20mm upgrade.. My rear diff was replaced (took 3 months), and I have been thru 2 wheel bearings. I'm at 40,156 miles. The build quality of the car is subpar. I miss my 2006 Legacy, I would still have it, if it didn't fall victim to the common head gasket problem. After the 5k engine repair it wasn't worth waiting for it to blow up again so I traded for the 2015. My 06' drove like it was on rails. The 2015 is a joke on the highway. The car is all over the place. The only way to fix it is to get a different car. I'm stuck with this POS for the long haul, so I deal with it. I stopped writing posts about it because as you probably have noticed hardly anyone will agree with you. Oh yea, I have also replaced my tires. My 1976 Rabbit and my 1970' & 73' Beetle all drove better than the 2015. A buddy of mine has a 16' Outback and his car drives fine. My sister has a 17' Forrester and that drives fine. Maybe it's just some of the Legacys that have this issue. Subaru isn't the best when it comes to issuing recalls.. There is no stupid learning curve to electronic steering either. The car is twitchy and loose on center and it sucks. I'm done.
  5. **It has been awhile since I've commented on this thread. I had the 20mm sway bar installed. It helped somewhat. I'm just done with the POS at this point. If not a wheel bearing issue, which I had only 1 month after buying the car, to being told over and over that everything is fine.. While I'm basically unable to drive the car in a straight line, it became a safety issue. I had the car towed to the dealer and it turned out the rear diff was gone. Working with Subaru of America to have the car bought back. No matter what they say or do, the car isn't safe to drive. I have kids, it's not worth the risk. Just like Kenny Rogers said, "know when to fold em". Now it's time to see how much the dealership honors their good name.. I'm not walking away eating anything from this deal. Nothing.. Car is a 2015 Legacy 3.6 R w 21kmiles
  6. When I was recently down under, I noticed the Liberty (Legacy), has different rear headrests vs. the US model.. Both sides match the middle headrest, they are just slightly larger and make more sense than the U.S. spec ones.. It also increases rear visibility because they aren't sticking up like dog ears in the U.S. model.. Any idea where to purchase? I had asked the vendor I bought my 20mm sway bar from and he told me that they don't have access to products listed for other markets or regions? I haven't been able to find a pic yet to show what I'm talking about.. Just try to picture 3 headrests just like the low profile one in the middle.... Thanks
