  1. KJS2023 has the right idea IMHO. There's a fair amount going on in that mirror assembly. As it it FOB related (and based on your symptoms), it may be that the puddle light circuit has a short or open. It is part of the interior light system and I believe it comes on with FOB proximity. Check the exposed wires, check the fuses (Fuse No. 26 I believe). You may want to try disconnecting the battery, disconnecting harness connector D15, reconnecting the battery, leaving D15 disconnected. However... It may make the car more upset.
  2. Pics from my removed "pipe compl" showing some of the cracked bellows section.
  3. It has helped me avoid too many to count and makes my 50k/year commute a breeze. You can still get yourself into an unavoidable collision. As a side note... Still was able to drive her home, no leaks (crumple-zones performed as they should have).
  4. Here's a pic of the new "PIPE COMPL" 44620AE86A that came in my kit SOA635156. Bellows and Cat are welded into the front exhaust assembly. It's one unit. Accomplishing the WUJ-95 myself took only a couple of hours with no snapped exhaust manifold studs (lucky). Once I removed the old one, I confirmed there was a leak in the bellows as stated in the Service Bulletin. I will be contacting SOA again to request some type of coverage.
  5. Ordered some assorted engine wire harness clips for a more permanent solution and will post once complete. Clip too tight to slide (and be of some use) so I removed it. Thanks for the suggestion apexi, loosened everything and it slid right off the blade. My temporary solution until then.
  6. Here's a side-by side showing the issue. My solutions to follow (besides not getting Denso). I would not consider this to be "OEM replacement".
  7. apexi: Advised Denso support of my issue and asked if they offered a patch cable or other suggestion for this. Was hoping that they would offer an acceptable replacement suggestion or patch cable. Only replied that they do not offer a patch cable. rhino6303: Thought about sliding the clip towards the sensor end (closer to the mount). Even just leaving it there and using a high temp zip-tie to the mount would have put additional tension on the wires. I'll look to see if I can flip the connector.
  8. 2016 Subaru legacy 2.5i Premium While replacing my leaking front exhaust pipe/catalytic converter assembly (Service Program Bulletin WUJ-95) I also replaced both front and rear Oxygen Sensors. I'll post a separate thread (and replacement video) on the WUJ-95 (SOA Declined to cover it). I selected the Denso brand as they had good reviews with a reasonable price point and included small tubes of copper anti-seize. My warning is regarding the Fuel/Air Sensor P/N 234-9138. The wire length between the connector and sensor is about one inch too short preventing clip © from being installed properly. It is also bent hard at 180 degrees and tight. Contacting Denso regarding this issue resulted in less than acceptable response IMHO. All is operating normally, so, I'm leaving it as-is for now.
  9. One replaced on my '16. SOA reimbursed. (updated my insurance coverage) One on my '19. Covered by insurance.
  10. I'd suggest checking: Rearview Mirror/Remote control mirror switch (FB-32) Front accessory power supply socket (FB-34) They, along with Rear accessory power supply socket (FB-33), are all powered by "Accessory Relay 2". If all three of those are inoperative, the relay could be the culprit. This relay is directly above Fuse "No. 3"in the fuse box below left of the steering wheel.
  11. Well... Unfortunately... "A" was the final answer from the dealership. I presented him with a copy of WUJ-95 and he seemed unfamiliar. I requested that he contact SOA and inquire as to coverage. After chasing him for a couple of weeks, he stated that "the updated parts were already installed". So, I checked again end my VIN is not on the list. I suspect that they have not included it yet as it is being done in phases. Just contacted SOA directly and requested they evaluate my situation as it is failing in the area identified in the recall. Fingers crossed. Dealer Diagnosis (redacted)-.pdf
  12. Safelite replaced mine back in June. Had to drop-off and have them do it at their facility as Eyesight Calibration is required. It's been operating with no issues since then.
  13. I'm about to bring my '16 to the dealership where they will gladly charge me $110-$120 diagnostic fee for lookin into this (known) issue. I'll wait to see what they say after already having it checked by my local exhaust shop who confirmed it is cracked at the Manifold Bellows. I see two possible scenarios: A) We have diagnosed your exhaust leak and it will be $2000-$3000 to repair. We will apply the diagnostic fee towards the repair to help with the cost. B) We have diagnosed your exhaust leak and are pleased to say that there is currently a recall (WUJ-95) that will cover it. While your vin number hasn't been added yet, we have contacted SOA and they have approved for us to proceed as if it were. Your safety is paramount to us, it is dangerous to drive with a known exhaust leak, and we stand behind our product and processes. When is the soonest you can leave the car with us so that we can get is fixed as quickly as possible? Let's see what happens.
  14. Greetings all! I believe I have an exhaust leak in the 2016 2.5L (200k + miles). Sounds to be coming from the RH wheel well area. Taking it to a local shop for evaluation but am researching to plan for the worst. Service manual calls it the "Front Exhaust Pipe". Online Parts lookup calls it "Converter Complete". My question: What is the difference between "Caliper" spec_exhaust and "FED" spec exhaust? (besites $699.13) Thanks in advance for any info!
  15. My post from a while back which includes pdf of the service manual referencing replacement. https://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/pcv-valve-275628.html?t=275628&highlight=PCV
  16. Replaced mine on the '16 @ 80k. For Liquid gasket, I used Loctite 243 (comparable to Three bond 1324) Tightened to 18.4 ft-lb (as specified in the service manual). There were threads still showing. Now close to 200k and will replace again. Removed valve didn't seem gummed-up at all.
  17. Got mine done about two weeks ago. No issues since. In and out in less than 2 hours (I was the first appt of the day). Have them check to insure that they have the part in stock before booking .
  18. You are in the ballpark. Got our latest '19 Sport (10k miles) for $23,840. +tax and required fees only. Never pay for things like etching, nitrogen.
  19. Thanks for the heads-up! Had a stall just this weekend in the '19. Driving 50k/year. Need to not have to worry about this. Link to Latest version of the bulletin: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2020/RCRIT-20V218-7149.pdf
  20. 192k on my 2016... Just turned-over to my kid. 26k on my 2019... My current daily driver.
  21. I highly recommend you increase Comprehensive coverage (as low a deductible as you can) and double check that chips/cracks are covered. Some states require it be covered with no deductible (not mine). It is highly likely you will need to replace your windshield and can be very expensive if your vehicle is equipped with eyesight. I bumped mine to zero deductible so no worries when another crack forms. Already replaced once on my 2016 and have a chip in my 2019.

  23. Maybe your Main Fuse failed? See this thread: https://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/2015-legacy-bad-main-fuse-similar-weak-battery-symptoms-277058.html?t=277058
  24. I'm intrigued by this. Any chance of posting a pic of your installation and what specific one you are using? (the site shows several)
  25. Regarding your Active Lane Keep System issue... Have you had any maintenance performed on the vehicle? There are several tasks that call for "Clear Active Lane Keep System Learning Value ES(diag)-49" to be accomplished as well. Wheel alignment is one of them. Unfortunately, it requires SSM4. If this is something that has just started happening, I have attached some documentation from the Service Manual that may help with diagnostics. You may have no choice but take it to the Stealership.
