  1. If you want to take more advantage of the vf52, you should get a bigger fuel pump. Relatively cheap and easy (or cheap) to have installed. How old are your coil packs? That seems to be one of the things that often causes people problems on dyno day. Dyno tuning will expose a weakened coil pack in no time.
  2. JMP is a member here and has built many turbos for many satisfied members.
  3. Probably also had catless DP and/or crappy catback. Mine doesn't rasp at all. Give me power and efficiency over "rumble" any day.
  4. Assuming it is the same cylinder, that's where I'd start. Swap coil or plug and see if the misfire follows.
  5. Depends on goals for the car and personal preference really. Us telling you what trans to get would be akin to us telling you who to date. The manuals hold their value better and will take a good bit more power without modification.
  6. Pretty small market honestly. Seems like people don't have/spend that kind of money on these cars. I've considered buying a coated manifold and selling my uncoated one so there's no downtime, but I figure it would be hard to sell for more than $1k.
  7. Do you want to buy twice? When you go to a big turbo you'll certainly want ELH so you aren't leaving power on the table. Might as well do it now. Killer B over everything else available.
  8. Noticeable increase in cabin noise after the pitch stop install? That uses a urethane bushing instead of the stock rubber one right? (Along with aluminum body vs plastic) I have long since thought the Beatrush pitch stop mount I have transfers a lot of noise from engine bay to cabin. The bushing is ridiculously stiff.
  9. You need to downsize your pics by %50 and then follow the upload procedure.
  10. Email Dave at Cryotune. Getting an E-tune done might be a good introduction and a safe way to get a completed tune at the same time. Unfortunately that seems to be the main complaint with tuners. Dave has a great Rep on this forum, but I haven't personally used his services. My car has always been dyno tuned.

  12. Moving to the tuning sub-forum. I hope you understand the risks you are taking.

  14. I have looked at this a few times. My only real concern would be introducing more potential failure point to the coolant system. I don't think the miniscule rise in overall temps is an issue.

  16. Swapped the entire kit. I knew what I needed, but it took a while for me to convince Cobb and TiC that Cobb was incorrect.
  17. Headlights were not installed, so am I correct in assuming you have not verified functionality? Any cosmetic defects?
  18. Which is only weird when you don't have a functioning Legacy.
  19. Cobb swapped mine out as there was a bunch of confusion about this when it first dropped. Have you tried going that route?
