  1. Yes Also see first post in NSFW 6 speed thread and compare what you wrote Mods can you put groffs, NSFW and hammer down 6 speed threads in the sticky?
  2. Congrats, what did it cost ya and how many miles?
  3. Got a set coming. Money contacted me through a want to buy thread. He has most all the parts if anyone wants the rest........All I needed was the cross members
  4. Yea that is where I got the rest if my stuff. He didn't have the cross member. I think I just found some though. Thanks
  5. Ill say this, the Cobb exhaust was supposed to be around 95-97 DB if I remember correctly. People said the autospeed was pretty loud. I have had the autospeed and now I have the cobb and the Cobb is louder. They are real similar in sound almost identical but the autospeed had a resonator in the midpipe that toned it down a bit.
  6. I need to be in that....I bet I have the only 6 speed outback in the country, its a guess but it could be... http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/2005-stage-3-outback-xt-sti-seats-150039.html
  7. Thanks Mat. I currently have an 08 making noise as you probably read but I'm selling it an buying a new one. Got any pics of the one with the pump so I can see what to look for
  8. Well I found a new 07 and some 08-12 for the same price. Wouldnt the one with the pump be better? Wondering if there is a way to find out if the new 07 had a pump?
  9. funny you say more resonable. When I price new ones, the 07 model is usually more cheap than the 08. Maybe I should buy a new 07 instead of an 08???
  10. 08 and up do not have oil pump they have slingers. 07 and down have the oil pump
  11. Guys anyone running this setup and have to adjust the clutch pedal any at all and if so what procedure did you do? I have a clutchmasters FX300 clutch I am beginning to wonder if my noise has anything to do with a certain RPM and just more noticable in 6th. Wondering if I could be having a similar problem to this guy..... http://www.subaruforester.org/vbulletin/f89/6-speed-swap-major-noise-gremlin-please-contribute-85824/
  12. Yea this makes sense, I wasnt thinking about the front cross member spacers, dont mind me Im an idiot
  13. Well I have everything I need to do this, just need to find 15 and 18 Nobody seems to have them. Anybody know where to maybe get these? I keep finding auto cars but no 5 speed cars to get these off of
  14. Re-read what I asked. Not tranny mount, the cross pieces of tranny mount are different. I also have the group N mount but for my sti 6 speed I was interested in the motor mounts.... I checked and they are the same number weird. I just figured they would be different since the tranny mount brackets were differs t
  15. I read through this whole thread and the only question I had and it may be a dumb one is this....... I was wondering since the outback is lifted a bit with the spacers etc. and since the transmission mounts have spacers in them.... Why wouldnt there be any difference in the motor mounts?????? Its seems from opposed forces they are the same on both LGT and OBXT
  16. I have a new 08-12 lined up just need to sell mine. Looking for offers My estimate was 450 in parts and about 400 labor to fix If anyone interested in a good deal shoot me an offer
  17. ^ You beat me to it. You did a wonderful thing with that OP, why and the heck do people not read it. Never ceases to amaze me!
  18. Heavy and light but not a real heavy one. I have discussed this with pheonix legacy, andrewtech, rallitech, and cobb plano drove the car and the consensus is something is not OK in 5th/6th cluster
  19. I don't think it should only in 6th
  20. If either of you or anyone is interested in my 08 STI 6 speed let me know. I may be purchasing a rebuilt or new one in the next couple of months and quite possibly selling the one that is in my car now. As far as I know it only needs the 5th and 6th gear cluster per Andrew-tech Here is a video of the noise and I posted my original comments about this transmission above. 23. 05 and UP Legacy also uses speed sensor, it has been discussed in one of the 6 speed threads. 08 and up tranny is perfect for our cars. On the older ones you can pull the sensor and get the 08 and up 6 speed plug for the hole. Part is listed in NSFW thread. We need to get someone to sticky, Groff's, Hammer down, and NSFW 6 speed threads.
