Looking for a P-203U that has a working CD player/changer. Mine is sketchy, I can only get it to play one CD, and if i switch to radio, I have to hit it with a rubber mallet to get the CD to play again.

That's interesting and really important. Needs to get pinned somewhere. I had "0.9" drop (LGT) Teins on Konis and was pretty happy, but I knew the ride quality vs full compression event compromise meant nice ride, but you will get 100% into the bump stops. I spent a ton of hours researching progressive bump stops for this reason but never pulled the trigger on any. A shorter shock body, like the coil overs usually have, would given more room for ride compliance. But not that much! just another half inch. So a good "rule of thumb" for the Outback might be a max of 1-1.25" lower than LGT before spacer removal is recommended/required. Yes? Agree?

The forums is probably a good place to start. I haven't really looked at pricing. See, thing is, the built motor is a bit loose, uses some oil. If I sell it to some soccer mom, she won't check the oil and kill it. That would be tragic. It's just forged pistons and STI parts, doesn't have forged rods. So it's not your baller built motor ready to make 500hp. And it makes knockity knock sounds when cold, sometimes shows up as knock on BtSSM. Maybe it's probably not your "forever" engine. But it'll hang in there until you've saved up for that Stage9000 TurboTuff. Who it's perfect for is someone that wants to get into DIY Subaru tuning. The pistons will hold up to some trial and error tuning, support larger turbo, and loves E85 (probably wise to learn to tune E85 first, before doing it on crappy pump). We were making 360hp wheel at just 5k when it ran out of fuel pump...

You're right. Even if we went over everything by Zoom and photos, odds are I'd still be trying to "sell" and you'd still be hoping for more and disappointed when you finally saw it . I need: Recently rebuild VF40 a rear head rest, black leather, for my outback. side, not middle. rear cup holder assembly from the center console. Kids thought it was a step a few years ago... Drivers side power windows switch thingy/assembly. The drivers side one doesn't work sometimes. Thanks!

Yeah, that's the plan. I think. We have four cars right now. I waffle between selling our old Integra and the outback. Which one brings me joy, versus which one is more practical (makes more sense). Obviously the Integra doesn't make much sense, but when it's running good and looking good, it definitely brings me joy. Now will I get the OB sold before my mood swings back to practical? AQ called yday though and said the stock turbo was a bit too sketchy to go back on. So the ported VF52 is going back on. I can still smog with that setup at least, but I'll have to sort out the turbo situation before I can list it.

Smog time. Put the stock intercooler back on today. Heli-coil pulled out of the AVO IC when removing it. FreakinA. Tomorrow dropping the car off at AQ for nearly 100% back to stock. Smog after the readiness bit flip, then probably have a detailer do the best they can on it, and list it for sale. I listed some parts from it locally on FB Marketplace. Not much action on those, so I'll probably have to consider shipping.
