  1. wow, I like the gold wheels better. I am surprised I feel that way. I think it's the meaty tire. Your OB looks great. Way better than mine looks lately. Paint looks amazing.
  2. Oh this is super ghetto, but I think i'd consider it in your shoes. Fake carbon fiber wrap on the hood. eh? eh? Most people would be fooled, and those that figured it out, well you have a conversation starter about your jdm front end journey.
  3. Congrats on the house! Car is of course beautiful. Thank you for creating such a master piece.
  4. That's brutal dood. So you had to pay 100% for motor #2? Yeah, 2020 is one for the record books for sure.
  5. Sky interviewed Alex two races ago and he said that he felt he preferred more front end (meaning loose rear) than anyone he knew. Until he met Max.
  6. Interesting. Alex needs to qualify better, so he can get better starts. He keeps getting caught up mid pack and consistently left behind by Lewis, Bottas and Max. But your theory could explain why he isn't able to consistently do both.
  7. That was a crazy fun race. Alex stepped up, and there was real action right up to the line.
  8. In interview after interview Perez said I am not going anywhere I have a contract. I hope he gets a huge pay out. And to think some people were saying Lance is the one that will give up his seat for Vettel! Ha!
  9. I have (had) the Tein H-Techs on Konis. Never had them on stock struts. You can check my build thread for my thoughts on them (search "h-tech", "Tein" and "H-techs" in my thread). Basically they are a good compromise. A wee bit soft, but that makes them ride nice.
  10. It was super fun! One of the most exciting dry weather race I can remember in a long long time.
  11. Not even close to that, but it's managed to be mild mid week and peak on the weekends when I have time. I did pressure wash most of the PS fluid off my driveway. Mid 90s this weekend, so too hot, lol.
  12. For my OB, I received the o-ring to try to fix my PS pump leak. I gotta do that. It's hot outside, though. And I still haven't ordered the starter. After I whacked it with a hammer, it's been good. For how long?
  13. I got zero for ya, other than a semi related situation. Our 98 Integra barfed PS fluid all over our driveway and the street, just moving it out of the way. And by barf, it emptied the whole reservoir in seconds. It's a seal in the rack and you need special tools to rebuild it. Most say it's better to get a rebuilt rack @RockAuto for ~$170-210 after core exchange. I've always done my own work on my Hondas, but I've read a few how-tos and watched a few videos... uh... yuck. and damn I'm getting lazy. We live in Honda-land (US corporate is across the street from one of my favorite local breweries) and I've found a couple very reputable shops on yelp I am considering doing the job. My rule of thumb is if I have to buy tool$ that I am only going to use once... let someone else do it. They probably know how to use the tools correctly versus me the first time, or have already figured out how to do it without that damn tool anyways. Oh, and if a lift makes it 5x easier, same rule applies. 2x or 3x i can handle... but a man has his limits. Problem is it's leaking so bad, do i have to tow it there just to get an estimate?
  14. saw that. but you can just look at Ferrari to see that money does not solve your F1 problems. But hopefully Williams can continue improving with a solid financial backer.
  15. Real snoozer. I'm happy they're not doing a double header here. But happy to have it!
  16. It was a good race, maybe not great, but kept me watching. And the Racing Point brake duct drama is great. https://jalopnik.com/the-racing-point-f1-drama-is-the-gift-that-keeps-on-giv-1844664786
  17. Anyone else crossing fingers that Hammy and Val DNF and the Hulk not just podiums, but wins?
  18. AQ motorsports in Gardena? https://www.yelp.com/biz/aq-motorsports-gardena That's where i go when i can't (or won't) DIY it.
  19. Hulk: "If he didn't have bad luck, he wouldn't have any luck at all." So sad... Quite boring until the last few laps. Bodes well for next week though! I like these double headers at the same track.
  20. Ohlins? Man that's some dialed in fitment with those specific per corner spacers. Glad to see the long wheels studs.
  21. Let's just put a Mercedes engine in the red bull.
  22. Awesome, thanks for the link. That makes it sound like it's worth it to give it a go. Thanks. Oh, it's bad... i have to add to the reservoir every few months... It ends up all over the Primitive skid plate though, and not on my driveway, so .... I've been annoyed, not angry at it. I've been hesitant to check it since it's manageable, but now that i don't need it daily it's worth a try. I'll order the o-rings and let y'all know when i get back up off my ass to work on it. Thank!
