  1. If I had to guess it's from the rear sunroof drain tubes, definitely have your dealer check it out
  2. They will fit, the WRX uses the exact same sensors. See the compatibility list here if you want to confirm for yourself http://www.worldoemparts.com/worldfiatparts/oe-subaru/28103aj00a?origin=pla&gclid=CKSXsqiAu84CFZA2aQod4JYHBw
  3. You mean like underbody skid plates? http://get-primitive.com/skidplates/437-front-skid-plate-2013-legacy-25i.html Or doorsill scuff plates? (aluminum is standard on Limited) http://www.cars101.com/subaru/legacy/legacy15-sill-plate1.jpg
  4. It's closer to or over 1.5qt (Subaru spec equates to 1.67qt). The oil change involved with the test is free so I figure why not find out exactly how much. If I'm in spec at least it will be documented, if I'm out of spec I'll see how they want to proceed. I definitely don't want major work done on my engine, but if a gasket or seal is failing I'd rather have it fixed now under warranty, rather than have it fail later down the road once the warranty is up when the repairs will come out of my pocket.
  5. My car started burning/losing oil around 12k miles. Didn't know until 15k when the low oil light came on and it took 3/4 qt to top off. Since then I've been adding about 1/4 qt per 1k miles. I contacted SOA in hopes of getting the acceptable "spec" for oil loss. They say up to 1/3 qt per 1200 miles (~0.28qt per 1k). So I'm going to my dealer Thursday to start a consumption test...not fun:(
  6. Reading this thread makes me want to tune more and more...but with my sudden oil consumption I'm definitely waiting until my warranty is up...if I can wait that long:spin::lol:
  7. Also, out of curiosity, would the stock 26mm from 5th gens fit the 6th gen?
  8. 0.853" = 21.67mm EDIT: Found on a Subaru parts website that it's listed as a 21mm http://imgur.com/vFsZRVu.jpg
  9. All Legacies have LED c-lights I contacted DD awhile back and was told they had plans to, good to hear it's in development!
  10. This should be a sticky thread so people are forced to see it lol
  11. I was at first too, but once you do it it's really not that bad. Pop out the clips (6 under hood, 2 in fenders, 7 underneath), pull put on each side, pull forward on each side, grab in center, lift up and pull straight off.
  12. The auto dimming and homelink mirrors have been redesigned for 2017. http://parts.subaru.com/p/Auto---Dimming-Mirror-with-Compass-and-HomeLink-R/65484475/H501SSG300.html Really like the thin frame and the buttons on the bottom. I wonder if the plug and mount are the same as current ones.
  13. Thoughts on running a 225/60R18 tire? I can get a really good deal on some Firestone Winterforce to throw on my stock rims for winter but that's the only 18" size they come in. Outbacks use that size so shouldn't have any issue with suspension clearance, right? Aside from speedometer and odometer inaccuracies is there anything else to worry about?
  14. Wow, that's quite reasonable!! I was expecting $500+. Thanks for sharing:)
  15. Thanks for sharing, I'm definitely interested in tuning at some point in the future. Will probably wait until I buy out the lease just to be safe. Do you mind sharing your total cost? Just wondering how soon I should start setting money aside lol.
  16. +45 will give more clearance between the tire and front strut but mine are +55. Really close but it doesn't rub:) 6th gen steering is pretty numb so I'll take some extra rim protection over better steering feel any day:lol: According to the handy dandy 1010 Tires calculator the rim width range for 245/45R18 is 7.5-9.0 and 255/45R18 is 8.0-9.5, either way 8.5 is middle of the pack. 1cm (~0.4in) really isn't that much more, a stiffer sidewalled performance tire vs softer sidewalled comfort-oriented tire would have a much greater impact on steering feel than 1cm of width (and therefore 0.45cm taller sidewall) imo.
  17. I completely agree. If there was a way to lower the front 1/4-1/2 in. without much work or cost I'd consider it. Lowering springs drop too much for my liking and bottoming out is also a concern for me. It's cheap and easy to lift up the back that much with just some saggy bum strut spacers but I hate to do that. Height is not your friend when it comes to handling:p
  18. Here ya go: http://imgur.com/7EJprWX.jpg http://imgur.com/mBUGX9n.jpg http://imgur.com/8M5LPrE.jpg http://imgur.com/GTUfIeO.jpg http://imgur.com/mHxs03H.jpg I'm on stock suspension btw. Love the look of lowered but I already scrape enough curbs:lol:
  19. I'm running 255/45R18 Pirelli P-Zero's on 18x8.5 WRX rims +55 offset.
  20. Like this? (Ignore peeling Lamin-X:spin:) http://i.imgur.com/fdemmi7.jpg There's a guy on the Outback forum selling them, however I made these myself with leftover vinyl from my roof wrap. Just make the shape you want out of masking tape, peel it off the headlight and place onto vinyl, cut around template, and stick on. Took maybe 30 mins.
  21. ^^Same. Even with the dark wheels the chrome doesn't stand out much at all.
  22. Really it's just an appearance package, just like last gen and with the Impreza. The Accord Sport is the same way, although you do get a whoppping 4 extra HP over a regular 4cyl Accord. Red brake calipers get you at least +5hp so I'd say a can of rust-oleum is a better investment.
  23. Someone could still be an early adopter:rolleyes: I prefer the WRX 18's I've got over those, never been a fan of slanted spokes cause I'm all about that symmetry lol. Still quite nice looking though.
  24. Indeed they are! I have XenonDepot 4300k Philips HID bulbs in my low beams. It's not quite a perfect match, the fogs are a tad bit whiter at closer to 5000k, but it's barely noticeable on the road. 5000k HIDs would match better but I prefer 4300k in terms of visibility. If you search for a light color temperature chart it'll give you an idea of the difference. 2015/2016 headlights on premium and limited trims are identical, except for the 3.6R which has HID from the factory.
