  1. Saw the Camry at Detroit, it was kinda meh. Had quad exhaust which seems kinda excessive for a Camry:lol: The Stinger is niiice, my dad is set on buying one as he no longer needs an SUV and wants something sporty. Plus he sells Kias now so he feels obligated to buy one lol.
  2. From this point on I'm set on have bi-xenons on every car lol. Yeah dual projectors would be just overkill, not to mention it doesn't look right having a projector mounted in our high beam location. At this point I don't even need my Hellas but I still plan on using them just because I can:lol: I went with 4300k because of that, the whiter light creates too much glare in inclement weather. Plus I prefer the OEM look.
  3. Finally finished my retrofit this evening/morning/whatever time it is I don't even know:lol: Super time consuming to say the least. I was starting to question whether or not it was worth it...until I took it out for a spin and holy crap it's amazing!! The output is phenomenal, and when I kick on the high beams it's like daylight. And to think I didn't even have the Hellas going yet as they still need re-aimed. All in all very happy with it.
  4. I'm going to the Cleveland auto show next week so if it's there I'll be sure to get some pics
  5. Diode Dynamics C-light RX 350 Bi-xenons Blackout lens holder ring Metallic blue cutoff shield Morimoto 4300k bulbs Blackout original turn signal Blackout sidemarker
  6. Tested out my projectors today in preparation for my retrofit tomorrow. Repeatedly triggered the solenoids using a 9v battery to make sure they didn't stick at all, and got the bulbs powered up to make sure they and the amp to D2S adapters I purchased work. Really looking forward to it:cool:
  7. My plan for the DRLs is to tap into my fog as DRL harness, so these + my LED fogs run. You could just tap into accessory power for bright mode so they're always on when the car is on.
  8. These bad boys came in:wub: RX350 non-afs, ordered from lightwerkz.net. If you sign up for their email list you get a discount which made them the cheapest place I could find at $170. Also purchased Morimoto D2S 4300k bulbs and high beam splitters from them as they were cheaper than I could've made them for. Also picked up some AMP to D2S adapters so I can use my current XenonDepot ballasts until my kit sells and I can order some Morimoto ones. Had to do this to keep from exceeding my mod budget:p http://imgur.com/BFb6SL6.jpg
  9. Ordered the parts to do an identical retrofit, thanks im2 for the super detailed write-up! Everything is coming this week so I hope to get it done next weekend.
  10. So here's what I got to hopefully end the drone. All stainless genuine SPT stuff for $200:wub: The gaskets are shot which is no biggie, new ones shouldn't cost much. Oh and it was missing a mid pipe bolt, but I won't even need that since I'm just going to get it chopped and coupled up to mine. I want to keep my resonator for anti-droning purposes. Sound clip coming, will get one of the muffler delete before it's swapped out so you can hear stock vs. delete vs. SPT. http://imgur.com/zsdxG1w.jpg http://imgur.com/yPwJo78.jpg http://imgur.com/JB6ZC6T.jpg http://imgur.com/6ak3KsR.jpg
  11. As discussed before our cars use a flasher integrated into the car's computer and is not replaceable. Load resistors are the only option for us.
  12. I knowww:wub: Based on the wheels I'm guessing it's from the sport. I'll definitely look at picking one up once available cause it looks clean. The new rear bumper is pretty slick too, might consider replacing mine with the new style rather than dropping money on repairing mine. Since no sheet metal is changed it'll likely be swappable.
  13. Here's what I have: This base https://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo/installation-power/mating-miniature-wedge-t3-14-base/984/1960/ Plus 2 of these strips https://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo/top-emitting/outdoor-led-light-strips-weatherproof-led-tape-light-with-18-smds-per-ft-1-chip-smd-led-3528/1466/251/ Just a matter of cutting, stripping, and soldering to put it together. Took like 10 mins tops. Not only is it bright but it lights up the whole depth of the trunk. http://i.imgur.com/KtBR2iJ.jpg
  14.:wub::wub: Someone please buy my stock wheels now so I can do this!!
  15. I'm wondering if going full muffler delete on my dual exhaust setup was a mistake. Woke up with a tension headache this morning and after 30 seconds on the highway I realized it wasn't going to be a fun time. With as often as I get tension as well as migraine headaches it can't stay this way. Does anyone have experience with side branch resonators? If you're not sure what I'm talking about, see the pic below. I've done the audio analysis and calculations to determine it's between 77-80Hz and would require an ~46" tube to do the trick. I'm just not sure how effective it would be. Other option is I found these on Craigslist, since they're Subaru mufflers my thinking would be they'd have fairly optimal sound characteristics. Hate to spend this much more but I'll do what I have to. http://columbus.craigslist.org/pts/5954083289.html Any thoughts? Side branch resonator pic: http://imgur.com/MBSKqYc.jpg
  16. Yea there's that:rolleyes: Cannot wait for Diode Dynamics to work some magic:wub:
  17. I meant what Nameless model, muffler or delete? Sorry should've been more clear:p Didn't think about the different amounts of wear...yea that would bother the crap out of me too:lol:
  18. Hey, they look good in pics at least:lol: http://i.imgur.com/fV1UNtt.jpg
  19. Nope, they're both sticking out too far now as he left extra pipe so it can be cut to proper length for the tips. They'll be welded on tomorrow so I should have a clip soon. What model do you have now? I'd try contacting Nameless to see if they'll sell you just the right side since you already have the left.
  20. Chances are you can't access vehicle customization options either. Redo part 2 and you should be good.
  21. Here it is on amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000CO7AGG/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  22. Right...I knew there was a reason I suffered through using Windows to do it, just forgot what it was:lol: Presumably if someone unzipped them for you and sent them over then you could drag and drop. Correct me if I'm not using my brain again lol.
  23. Only thing I could think is try reapplying both parts 1 and 2. Also, I didn't try it on Mac but I don't see why it couldn't be done. I believe disk utility lets you format into FAT32 and from there you should be fine as it's just unzip and drag+drop a file.
  24. Typically but not always, there's quiet high performance tires and loud touring tires. Tread pattern definitely makes a difference. That and how much time they spend tuning the noise characteristics. For the average driver there's nothing wrong with them at all, but those of us that push our cars hard around corners find them lacking. Everybody has a different driving style and therefore different needs in the tire department.
  25. Got my exhaust done yesterday, it sounds amazing. Final price was $150 however he wasn't able to get tips like I wanted from the supplier he uses. I picked up 2 4" Magnaflow tips on Amazon for $40/ea. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000XQQ1TK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1#HLCXComparisonWidget_feature_div Kinda disappointing as I had to pay more for tips than he would've at wholesale but oh well. It's gonna look sweet when they're on and $230 overall is a great price imo. No pics yet cause said tips haven't come in yet so right now I have just bare 2.25" pipes sticking out and it's ugly:lol:
