  1. I actually purchased a set of those exact ones but decided not to use them; they're yours if you want them. They are harder to install on our cars than what the install video on iJDMToy would suggest, but it can be done. I cracked my 1st set of mirrors trying to remove them from it's holder, so I dropped the idea in favor of the front facing LEDs ([ame=http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005M0CNX0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1]Amazon[/ame]). I also have an extra passenger side mirror that I purchased to do a test fitment. p.s. It was actually just my passenger side mirror that I broke, and it was from a set of aftermarket mirrors that I got here. They use different mirror holders than stock, so I had to order a burco replacement mirror.
  2. It's the North East in general and is a combination of the aforementioned traffic and weather. I drive from NY to FL at least once a year; as soon as I near the Philly area, the potholes begin. As of 1/1/13 (here), NY was ranked #1 for gas tax rates ($.506/g). Meanwhile, next door in NJ the taxes are only $.145/g (ranked #48) while their roads and bridges are in marginally better condition than NY's. Traffic volume is ab out the same in both states especially in the NYC area.
  3. My last fill up was $3.599/g for 87 octane. NY = highest taxes = worst highways.
  4. Just for comparisons, with just the Takeda intake (including aFe filter), HKS funnel and no tune, I pulled 180whp & 219ft/lbs of torque which I was told was pretty close to stock.
  5. You'll need a crank pulley removal tool and probably a second set of hands. 13. Crank Pulley.pdf
  6. It was easy to install because someone else did it
  7. I just found a video that shows this. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f7cdmKV9owY]2013 Subaru Outback 3.6r (Special Appearance Package) Walk Around and Review - YouTube[/ame] Go to the 3:10 mark.

  9. Only two mounting points may be a concern. I can't imagine just two bolts in those locations would be stiff enough. By contrast, the Cusco MCB has six bolts holding it in place.
  10. Spotted an Azurite Blue 5th Gen with NY plates heading south on Route 9 near Ossining. It had L7 stickers on the wheel caps, trunk was de-badged and had red logo Rally Armor mud flaps. I didn't get to see the front end because I didn't notice it until it had passed me, so I don't know if it was a GT, 3.6R or 2.5i.
  11. It's possible. It's a lot smaller and has fewer mounting points than the Cusco MCB, but it does look like it may fit in our space. You will have to drill holes for it though.
  12. Looks like you have to get the entire cup holder with it. This was the cheapest one I could find... http://www.quirkparts.com/subaru/outback/92134aj00a
  13. I bet half those tickets were issued to and from WBM.
  14. Not really a random thought, but I didn't want to start a new thread over this... http://www.nydailynews.com/autos/news/license-registration-ticketed-cars-america-article-1.1958357
  15. Careful with those green wires; they're like 24awg and extremely fragile.
  16. Nah, just go to Radio Shack and pick up one of these, then cut one of the wires off of it. http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=12475707
  17. I removed the fastener and ran the wires through the hole. But, I didn't have the right wiring on the connector, so I had to run the camera wires all the way to the head unit.
